I've never been a fanboy before.. but this system has made me mark out big time. When I went to buy it I felt like I might be making a big mistake.. I thought it was lame when it first launched.. so after maybe 8 months after launch I started seeing some good reviews and what not of the system and went out and got it.. everything has been awesome since. Like some of these other guys have said its the most important device right behind out cars. I stream music, videos.. play online with my friends.. I'm fortunate enough to never have gotten the 3 red lights.. knock on wood.. I just sold my Premium system to a friend and I went and bought an Elite.. so far so good... I re-downloaded all my XBLA games and they work great.. I'm always connected to the net so it's not a big deal not being able to play them signed out of live.. still have my gamer score intact as well and now I have an elite and a good friend with xbox live.. it makes all the difference in the world. I don't think I would enjoy the system nearly as much if it weren't for Live. The only regret I had was spending $500 at the time of purchase.. (system + controler + game).. but that went away as soon as I started using the system. I think it really appeals to the hardcore and older demographic... with all the classic arcade titles and what not.. I'm 28 and the XBLA is like a slice of heaven to me. Oh well enough gushing about it....
It would be possible to easily add that feature to any game that has vehicles... they could have the option to turn it on or off for people without the wheel or who just don'twant to do it. IT shouldn't be that hard to setup a control scheme for the racing wheel. I think that is a very good idea and would add some freshness. You should try to tell some people who actually develop the games. It's not gonna get heard here.
Any game that wants to be #1 on the leader board is nearly impossible. Smash TV beat it without continuing seems impossible. And one really really hard one is getting 1,000,000 in Geo Wars without losing a life.. i've gotten close but it's pretty hard.
