Whatever. I guarantee it will be way less than in Morrowind. I'm not paying a fee to play a game that will offer less than the same company's $10 game from 10 years ago.
He's a marketing guy. His entire job is to tell you what you want to hear, even if it is the exact opposite of what the developers will do to the next awful game. If he was being interviewed by NFL.com, he'd say that the next game will be about a team of zombie-killing felons and that you will score 3 points for long-range kills, and 6 points for close-range kills with a chance to get an extra point for a headshot.
"Hmmm... There's no news, but I feel compelled to post something. I know, I'll pick random game X. Then I'll post 'X Not Coming To WiiU'. I'm a genius!"
@SuperGamer8090 Those are all awesome ideas! But I actually don't even care what characters are involved, I just wish they would make a game where the gameplay is as versatile as Capcom vs. SNK 2 again. Every fighter feels dumbed-down after that one.
@bunchanumbers Most of those are probably from people who have realized that Capcom and EA are too greed-driven to ever release a fully featured game at a reasonable price again. These ones are mostly from people who would actually enjoy the games if the company behind them wasn't demanding hundreds of dollars to actually get what would have been considered a full game a console generation ago. I identify with them, but I would rather send the companies a message by not giving them my money anymore.
"Nintendo hate" These are just douchebag fanboys who think that every game needs blood and sex to be fun. They are always dumb teenagers or college frat morons.
"Consoles suck and are holding back gaming" The main reason people post this is that it is 100% true pretty much any way you look at it. With consoles, it basically boils down to whether you need your favorite company's exclusive titles enough to put up with the fact that they are ripping us all off.
Also worth noting is that the entire internet is a festering cesspool of stupidity and whining. This is especially true whenever gaming, religion, or heavy metal music are involved.
Why does it matter what Capcom is doing? I thought the whole point of having two games was that Namco would get to make this one, so that people who don't want to be DLCed out of their life savings could still at least play one of the games.
Every time a developer talks up the destructible environments and AI to this extent, they are always full of crap. I find it's a good identifier to tell what developers are completely talking out of their asses, and this guy definitely fits the criteria.
I'm not saying that the game won't be good, but you can expect the environment system and AI to be nothing like what he described when the game launches.
