i have a mic and it's always plugged in, but unless i am playing with friends it's on the ground. I got so sick of little kids screaming in the mic/talking about how they are god at gaming, raving about their stats.. and the older gamers trash talking them, putting them in their places.. it just got so old.. i'm sure many people like me do the same thing and only use the mic while playing with friends. mics do seem to draw (cliche) trash talking..
who knows your best bet is to play the games you like to play, and when you come across a clan that is decent or has members that are cool to talk to, ask to join/what games they play... i don't get into the whole clan thing because i think gamebattles are stupid, but i do enjoy playing with a same group of people..
314 i just got into collecting them.. i need to finish getting platnium on alone in the dark, fallout 3, prince of persia, dead space before killzone comes out. lol
There are a lot of jack holes who play music on their headsets or cuss the other team and even their own team. It's rare to find someone cool on the headsets. So much so I add them to my friends list so I can find them later.The_profeshenal
lol that's me, i play music, normally because i forget my mic is plugged in.. but on occasion i have found like 10yr old annoying voice kids blasting rap music and that is not tolerable.. especially when you tell them to turn it down/off or turn off their mic and they go off on a pointless annoying rant of how they are god at games and do what they want.. lol
unless i am playing with friends i usually plug my mic in and throw it on the ground, so i don't have to listen to little kids complaining/screaming.. or an older generation trash talking little kids because they are being annoying...
i only play online games to associate with friends, if i had to pay then i would lose contact with them... i'm not big on the online gaming scene, too many people exploit the game to use to their advantage in order to rank up some stats, and playing against people like that just ruins the fun factor for me...
