Hey GS, i was wondering on how i would setup my SSD for the os and my 2 HDD's for space. I am a little stuck in that area atm, i have my ssd installed in the drive cage just not hooked up to the mobo. i'm using my 500gb for os/space and it is almost used up. Any suggestions would be great being my board is a little funky with raid 0 array setups

[QUOTE="fishing666"][QUOTE="Mr_BillGates"] Yup.Mr_BillGatesnot really. the only difference is the locked memory multiplier and 1 discrete graphics card. his powersupply doesn't even really support 2 graphics card anyways http://www.anandtech.com/show/3871/the-sandy-bridge-preview-three-wins-in-a-row/3 He has a 2600k but cannot overclock due to the H67 chipset.
he could always save a bit of money and order a new mobo, But i do understand where you are coming from. All in all its a good build.
if you are trying to oc your gpu go with msi afterburner, just don't go to crazy with voltageif you are using the stock HSF.

Title pretty much sums up what I'm wondering. From what I understand, SLI doesn't work in windowed mode for the most part. So since the GTX 590 runs pretty much like two 570 cards SLI'd, does that mean when a game is running in windowed mode with a 590 GTX installed, the performance will drop as if only a single 570 card is running?
I'm curious about this because I'm trying to decide between the 580 GTX and the 590 GTX. I like to run a lot of my games in windowed mode, and if there is going to be a huge performance drop if I do that on a 590 GTX, then I think I'm just going to go with the 580.

as everyone else said sli/crossfire do ot work in windowed mode, but going with a gtx 580 isn't to bad of an idea.
