It really depends on your computer. I personally use the Hauppauge PVR with my 360, PS3 and Wii and it works great. I understand where you're coming from though, last month I too was trying to decide between these two recorders. After reading the reviews I went with the Hauppague mostly because it didn't seem like my brand new computer (With a 2600k) would be capable of handling the Blackmagic without setting up a raid. Not only that but a lot of people also said they needed to get a HDMI powered splitter in order to get rid of a 5 second lag between the console and the PC. I'm very happy with my Hauppauge and have had absolutely no issues with it at all. The quality of the video is fantastic, you can choose to record in Dolby Digital 5.1 for audio if you want to, and it hasn't had any problems recording for up to 6 hours at a time. If you do decide to go with the Hauppage, I recommend picking it up from BestBuy as the unit I got there came in a different box and it looks a lot newer than the pictures of the one on Newegg.com. I'm not sure if there is a difference, but it definitely looks newer. I hope this helps!
Other than Tom Brady, Mike Vick was hands down the best QB in the NFL last year. Brady doesn't want to be on the cover so give it to Vick. He was on there for Madden '04 and I think he should be this year too. As for the dog fighting charges... he did his time and he's a changed man now. Besides, he was found guilty of conspiracy related to dog fighting, there's a difference. I bet you thought Mike Tyson was awesome in The Hangover... in 1992 he was convicted of rape and spend 3 years in prison. Vick did 2 years on conspiracy. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Yeah definitely Crysis 2. The multiplayer is awesome but it does take some time to get used to it if you've been playing COD or BF. With the Nanosuit you've got extra armor, the ability to cloak and of course, sprinting. It's got a couple hour learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun.
I love football but I am terrible at Madden. I play the game all the time but I just can't seem to pick the right plays. I'm fine against the computer, but on Live I am awful haha... It's the same way with basketball games too.
