Hello,
I recently received this year's Macbook Pro 13" with an integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics card. However, when booting up my favorite Mac game, Call of Duty 4, I noticed a problem: Certain ingame textures are, well, lacking textures. They instead appear as completely black. I looked around on Intel's homepage for drivers, but no luck. I also downloaded the newest patch, but still no difference. I am not the only one experiencing this problem, you can see the issue is present in this Youtube video.
Anyone know how to fix this issue? Any help is appreciated.

try and find yourself a otebook with a NV gpu or Radeon and you will be set.
So just becuase he has graphic glitches in a game on a Mac, He is supposed to spend $500+ to get a PC? That is so naive its beyond sense. Could be an OpenGL problem or something with the game, have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling?maybe you should reread what i posted i said nothing about buy a 500 dollar pc.

480 runs how and will reck his electricity bill, scrap that and go with a 6950 2gb or if you can fit it in a 570. You could also bundle the 2500k and mobo.
last time i checked my electric bill isn't even that high on top of my cpu being overclocked to 4.2ghz, also on top of it being hot, before i trasnfered over to WC, on air it sat roughly at 75c. So as far as your facts go they are false.
The best gaming PC company is in my bedroom.

nice! can i get a discount off some parts i want to order? :p
[QUOTE="-Exclusiive-"]I don't know to much about overclocking but I have been thinking of doing it myself. Although It could seriously kill your pc or make it really hot.So I just completed my first build the other day and its running great, but I was wondering if anyone could give a guide or help me overclock my cpu and gpu (which I know next to nothing about).
intel i5 2500k 3.3ghz
noctua nh-u12p se2
MSI 560ti Twin Frozr II OC 880mhz
asrock p67 extreme 4
corsair hx750
gskill 8gb ddr3 1333mhz
I was hoping to get the cpu to about 4.0ghz and the gpu to about 950mhz. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the voltages/clocks/other settings to reach these values.
gary3dsfan
if you do not know what you are doing then yes it will kill you cpu/mobo, but if you actually do some research and learn you can OC without any probs but you will need a bit of patience. As far as my clock goes in my sig it has been runing at that speed for over a year now.
if you really do not want to build it yourself then look at Cyberpower.com.
look dude if you seriously jsut want to improve airflow take the sidepanel off and get a cheap 5 dollar plug-in fan from wal-mart point it at the pc.. presto chang-o!
seriously that would help considerably .. this wouldnt be wise though if you say live in the middle east somewhere or near the equator.. or you may jsut need a second 5 dollar plug in fan :P
keeping a case open isnt a crime or somehting folks do it all the time its jsut that when its off losely close it up to reduce dust build up.. or soon you will be able to use th accumulating dust as a welcome mat :P
nut hey 10 dollar solution to a 700 dollar problem :P

no...just no we build p'cs for a reason 50-60bucks for a better case is not bad.
Imo, liquid cooling used to be worth it, but with smaller die now and stuff you can overclock really high on air now, even with stock fans.
edinsftw
it was actually worth it for me being that i wasn't able to run 4.2 w HT/turbo on being i needed 1.3v for my clock.
Unless you're WCing to show off at LAN parties and stuff or you regularly buy $500+ CPUs and GPUs, then no. After the initial $500 investment (for top quality parts) you're looking at $100 per CPU block and $150 per GPU block. It's silly to spend that much on cooling if your components aren't top-tier unless, again, you just want to show off your WC skills :D
istuffedsunny
actually most cpu blocks now range from 70 to 80 bucks and gpu blocks from 100-130, i'm alreadyt looking at a HK cpu block/HK gpu block for my setup.
