[QUOTE="New_Messege"]... Teenaged

Hey I see you joined just today?

I wonder what compelled you to (re)join. This thread perhaps?

...are you trying to imply that me posting in a thread that actually interests suddenly means I'm looking for trouble? Cool story bro, I'll just ignore you from now and post in pointless "Have you ever X" threads that have no room for discussion until I reach 23,000 posts like you.

[QUOTE="New_Messege"]What does that have to do with saying that you are a 6'4 stud with an 8 pack online when you're actually suffering from dwarfism and have a beer belly in real life?Teenaged

Again, spot on. The best lies are always laced with a certain amount of truth.

I like it how you only respond to posts that either agree with you or to posts that dont agree with you but are not so difficult to respond to.

It seems to me you know that many people can be truthful here (or on any other anonymous internet community) but you just cant stomach it and made this thread calling everyone who believes so naive and what not, trying to reassure your belief. No matter if you added "most" in your topic title you seem very adamant in your belief that lying must be the default choice in an anonymous forum, while several people have given you enough reasons why this is not true, necessarily and that in fact that there are plenty legitimate reasons why one would choose to not lie.

How do you know that they're being truthful? Just because I say I'm "telling the truth"doesn't necessarily mean I am, even if I have an avatar of uncle Sam and a good reputation on this website. So you're just going to take their word for it and assume that they're telling the truth?

[QUOTE="New_Messege"]Well I've just sold my Xbox and half my game collection so I could buy the new Xbox series in this new region that I'm in and not have to buy a power transformer. But then I found myself wondering, now that I have the money, should I experience what the PS3 has to offer? I'm a huge fan of shooters, JRPGs and WRPGs and I play the occaisional racer. If I buy a PS3, I won't be able to finish the Halo series, Gears of War 3, Tales of Vespiria (REALLY WANTED TO PLAY THIS!), Fable 3 and experience what is, IMO the more active online community for shooters with a more ergonomical controller. But on the other hand, I'll be able to play Metal Gear Solid 4 (played every game in the series but this one), God of War 3 (never played the other two), Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, GT5, Warhawk, the superior version of Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy 14, which is what might be the greatest console MMORPG ever. There's also Killzone 2 but I here its quite stale...how is the multiplayer for it btw? Please help me decide its killing me!Heirren

Trying to start a fire, aren't we.

Anyways, going by what you say, you should get an xbox. Personally I prefer the ps3, except for online halo.

**but what I really think is that you really already own a ps3 and are trying to get a rise out of 360 fanboys.

Please leave my thread :)

[QUOTE="guildclaws"]Buy Xbox 360 It has Gears Of War Series. Fable 3. Halo Reach. Halo 3. Mass Effect 1 and 2. Splinter Cell: Conviction.

I'm not a fan of Halo's mechanics and Halo 3 got old quick, Halo Reach will be meh if its anything like the beta, I've already played and finished ME1, 2 and all I'm missing is Gears 3, Fable 3 and ME3. Meanwhile, the PS3 has GoW3, MGS4, Uncharted 2, the inevitable Uncharted 3, superior version of FF13, Last Guardian, FF14, possible Kingdom Hearts 3, White Knight Chronicles and GT5.

[QUOTE="waltefmoney"][QUOTE="New_Messege"] Its more like 50% shooters, 25% JRPGs and 25% WRPGs (more so WRPG). I heard news about a new Kingdom Hearts and a rumor about an FF7 remake and that really made me excited.

50% shooters and 25% WRPGs? Then you should definitely go for a 360.

I consider MGS4 and Uncharted 2 shooters also. BTW its also that I dont see any other decent shoooters after 2010.

[QUOTE="waltefmoney"][QUOTE="New_Messege"] True. Ps3 games are also region free. So you can buy games from anywhere and they will work with your ps3.

360 also has region free games. Anyway, sounds like you should go for a 360. Most of the genres you listed have stronger presence on the 360. But if you want jRPG's that bad, you should go for a PS3.

Since you stated you like JRPGs, you might have more of them on the PS3 (there were announced quite a lot JRPGs on the PS3), you might also enjoy games like Demons Souls (PS3 exclusive) or Dragon Age (better version on PS3). On the other hand, you seem to like quite a few MS IPs. If you have a gaming PC, the combination of PS3/PC would be perfect for you, if not, the decision will be rather hard :S Personally I'd go with a PS3 alone for Nippon Ichi Software who easely developped the deepedst RPG this gen (Disgaea 3) which'll (hopefully) soon be topped by Disgaea 4 ^^

ArchoNils2
The problem is that I don't really see much happening on the 360 after Gears of War 3 seeing as how all these upcoming MS exclusives are finishing series. There wasn't a single IP announced at E3 (or at least one that is actually half decent and interesting) and I find that quite disturbing. We also have no idea when this generation is ending and it seems to me that the 360 is ageing after hearing about all that FF13 compression business.

By the sounds of things you're more inclined to the 360, so if I was you I would go with your first thought and go with the 360.soulitane
It seems to me that the PS3 now has significantly superior exclusives these days and a lot more IPs. The three exclusives that I'm interested in the 360 are all sequels with at least two previous games on the console.
