People who are insecure label themselves with tags like hardcore gamer, true gamer. I've watched movies since I was a baby, does that make me a hardcore movie watcher?. I've eaten bread all my life but I don't go around calling myself a true bread eater.

You play video games, you're not elite or hardcore, get over yourself.

i think they wanna come into the console business and they are gathering more exclusives, but it is very hard for me to picture a ea console

wat do u guys think?

II_Seraphim_II

lol, i was just talking to my lil bro about this. I mean if you were gonna bring out a new console, what better way to go about it than to acquire the rights to all the major multiplat games? That way, when they release a console, it will be the only one with these great games including the EA games such as Madden and so forth. If you think about it, an EA console would have almost no chance of losing.

It would still flop hard in Japan. I find it odd that the company with the most money, Microsoft, are sitting back and allowing EA to strut around like they own gaming. MS better pull their finger out and start buying some developers before EA snap them all up. I mean they will buy Rare, but not Epic or Take Two?, makes no sense to me at all.

Not saying I want MS to own these developers, but if I was MS I would get Take two if Rockstar are staying on board.

I think Phil Harrison will join Take Two, then EA will buy Take Two, then MS will buy EA. And they will all have a big party and release a Xbox 720EA console that will have a picture of Phil's bald head on the Blu-ray drive.

The way I see system wars is pretty simple. People will buy the machines that they can afford, or the machine with the games they want. Then for a reason I still don't understand, they will turn against other systems that they feel has worse games, or was out of their price range. I guess it makes them feel better about chosing the systems they do play games on. Insecurity plays a big part in being a fanboy. I used to be pretty anti Sony at the start of this generation, but I've mellowed to the point where all I want is people to enjoy playing games on the systems they do own. I don't wish for other gamers to get crappy ports, or keep exclusives for myself, I got over all that nonsense along time ago, I guess I'm cured.

There really is no need to turn against your fellow gamer, it won't make you enjoy playing your games anymore than you already do, it just breeds negativity. I've found that I enjoy gaming a lot more since I stopped getting wound up about fanboy stuff. I no longer look for small differences between PS3 and 360 games, I no longer care if 360 games go to PC.

And you shouldn't care either.

I'm not anti PC gaming, I don't own a gaming rig but I still play old games like Diablo 2, one of my favourite games ever. I just find it odd that hermits feel the need to lord it over console gamers at every oppertunity. I think you will find most console gamers would rather get a game like Mass effect, or Gears of war early, than wait for a few improvements in a PC version months and months later. If Gears of war 2 does go to PC November 2009, then PC gamers will lol at console gamers yet again, but I fail to see why, you deserve extra content because most people will have already played the game on 360 so would have no need to buy the PC version, it's hardly ownage getting some extras on a old game.

But carry on, I'm done with this argument.

First of all its going to be $10 cheaper than the 360 version and will come with the extra content that you have to pay $4 for. Plus all the other upgrades it has over the inferior 360 version.

1. $4 omg I'll have to get a second job

2. I've finished the game three times already, while you are still waiting for it.

Who said anything about hermits waiting for this game? We've had Witcher, which is just as good if not better than Mass Effect.

Well you are waiting for it if you're going to play it on PC. If you want to say the PC version is better then you have to weigh up the good and the bad, the good is you get Mass effect running better on your platform, and the bad is most people who wanted to play it have already finished it multiple times on 360 and no longer care about the game. And Witcher is not better than Mass effect imo, but you're entitled to believe that if you want so knock yourself out.

All I'm saying is TC is looking for some kinda ownage with the fact that the PC version comes with DLC on the disk, but it's kinda sad ownage as it costs $4.

Who honestly gives a **** ?

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="zero9167"]PC fanboys are really getting owned for bashing them around ME 360's releases... :Ptader-salad
Yeah, we're getting owned by the superior version that only came out four-six months later.

I find the fact that the PC version is coming out 6 months after the 360 version very suspicious. Why would MS do this, don`t the know it is just giving people another reason not to buy a 360?

MS don't own Bioware, EA do. MS have done nothing.

360 version has been out for months, maybe that's why the 360 version didn't come with the DLC on the disk...just a thought.

I find it odd how someone can call themselves a true gamer yet not own any of the current video game consoles on the market. If you are a true gamer then you like games, yet you won't buy the machines to play them on. Strange.

To me a true gamer is someone who puts the time into games to become really good a them, if that's finishing Ninja Gaiden on the hardest setting, or getting to numer one on the world leaderboards of DMC4, doesn't really matter. Those people are just as hardcore as any elite hermit out there.

And to say PC gets all the games that matter is another mistake, games like MGS4, FFXIII, Ninja Gaiden 2, Mario Galaxy matter to real gamers, and none of them are going to PC.

This topic is just misinformation from a angry hermit. Typical of many topics on system warzzz.
