I like both about the same, they both have some problems, Halo single player could be better, Half life 2 has some very boring driving sections that go on far to long.

I will own orange box by the end of the week to go with my Halo 3 so it doesn't really matter which is better. Well to me anyway.

Between the bitter tears here, and the meltdowns over at the Ratchet board my day is turning out great.

The Good

-Excellent flight model and smooth controls make flying simple and fun
-Exciting action surrounds you with huge explosions, radio chatter, and squadrons of enemy fighters
-Looks amazing, yet still maintains an even frame rate
-You can experience the excitement online with a number of great multiplayer modes.

The Bad

-First half of the campaign is a little bland
-Not as many aircraft or missions as prior installments.

People seem to be under the impression that Gamespot has made one of its famous **** ups with this review, as I don't own a PS3 I will just sit back and enjoy the ride.

And laugh at everyone involved who managed to totally screw up.

So is this a bad game or is Gamespot a bad review site?.

All games on all systems have become to easy, it's not just Nintendo. Look at games like Bioshock, you can't even die anymore. The more people play video games, the more easy they will get. Hardcore gamers really don't matter , haven't for a very long time.

It's just that they think they matter and have a bigger mouth than other gamers so make more noise about gaming.

I no longer care what Nintendo, MS or Sony do. I've realised that gaming doesn't deserve the emotional investment that so many people put into it, it's simply not that important and shouldn't be respected so highly by so many gamers.

It really isn't "all that" and hasn't been for many years, just play the best games on any system and stop being loyal to a company that doesn't and never has cared about you.

And never will.

Having put two weeks into Halo 3 I can safely say it's the best FPS ever made, and I've played all the classics on PC and Consoles. Sure hermits will laugh but Halo 3 really is a amazing game online when you get good at it and play other good players.

Halo 3 is a bloody great game, even better than Bioshock, it has exactly 1000000 times more replay than Bioshock, and actually gets BETTER the more you play it.

3.3 million people bought the game in 11 days, just dry the tears and forget that Halo 3 is real, you'll feel better
