Cod4 for quality and overall satisfactiopn but MW2 for both more high points and low points.

I read various reviews, watch videos of the game and try to rent or get a demo first. This ensures I make the right choice.

MW2- Terminal the rest are pretty bad IMO

I was wondering whether to get Civilization Revolution.

I already have Civilisation 4 and play it quite often so would it be worth getting revolution or not?

This is a little off topic but when you mute somebody else can they hear you when you talk?

This is happening to me too. What Infinity Ward are doing are making you search for the best possible games through matchmaking rather than shoving you into the first game they find. When it starts off with 50 ping it basically means it is finding the best possible game for you that is why it goes up in 5's or 10's. Have you been playing a lot of 3 bar games lately? This is what happened to me as I am Australian and used to have a lot of of one bar (red) games before the recent patch where they rectified that. It may take longer to search but it should find the best game for you.
