You can run a system test here to see if your PC can handle Bioshock

It would be interesting to see some results from hermits. My PC is so old I won't even bother so I'm getting it on 360

I find the new system kinda strange, I saw nothing wrong with the old system and it was good for system wars. But there are many sites that don't give scores for graphics, sound ect. Eurogamer is one of them. What's important is the actual text of the review, not the score. The new system has taken the fun out of guessing review scores here as the .5 rating system is boring.

Resident Evil 4, i know it's not as technically impressive as Gears but i think it gives a better visual experience and i enjoy looking at it more. for just plain better graphics i think bioshock will be the next game to look better then gears iam also very impressed with UT3.ledzeppelin667

I couldn't agree more, Gears of war has amazing textures, but I found the characters ugly, the scale of the levels to small, it seemd to lack atmosphere. RE4 was my favourite looking game last gen for character design, atmosphere, level design,

now it's Bioshock, the game just pulls you in with beautiful lighting, level design, characters, weapons. And the best sound effects, voice work and music I've ever heard.

Did anybody like this game?

I played the demo and any interest I did initially have was lost very quickely.

I thought the handling was pretty bad on the cars in the demo, Rallisport challenge 2 was a better game, and had wicked multiplayer.

Having played both Gears of war and Bioshock, for me Bioshock is the best looking game out there at the moment. Screen shots and videos don't do it justice, it has a atmosphere unlike any game, and you just stop and stare at everything, it's just unlike anything I've ever played, you feel like you're in the game more so than anything before it.

And I know all about the red ring of fire on 360, mine broke down in June and I had lot's of trouble with it until they brought in the extended warranty, I hate the system for its failure rates, but seeing as I can't afford a high end PC any time soon my 360 is a great alternative as it has some kick ass games that would require a high end PC to run such as Bioshock, COD4, Half life 2 orange box, Oblivion

I know they are on PS3 as well, but I don't see the need for one at the moment.

I don't own a PS3, but after playing the demo of Bioshock on my 360 I would like everyone to get the chance to play this game. I may poke fun at PS3, but I'm not cruel enough to want to deny them a game like Bioshock, if you like FPS then you should have the chance to play this game. I would say Wii owners as well, but sadly this game wouldn't work on Wii as graphics and atmosphere play a major role in making it what it is.

My list for 360 games was just those that are coming out this year and are console exclusives, I've always thought 360 has had the best line up so far this gen, and I still do. I see no reason to buy a PS3 until something like MGS4 proves PS3 is a must have.

Mass effect, Bioshock, Halo 3, PGR4, Gears of war. I would ask why buy a PS3 when you can have a 360 that has better games.

You would never see a Nintendo magazine mark a important game like Corruption low, this review has little meaning but it's still nice as it may be a great game either way. A good score is better than a low score, even if it is from a biased source.
