I found this STEAM Account for sale on EBAY (there are quite a few of them and from different sellers).

IS THIS SAFE TO BUY?

It looks like it is, and it comes with Half-life 2, espisode 1, and other games. The seller has a 100% rating, but not a ton of points, so I am not sure. I DONT WANT TO GET ROBBED!!!!!!!!! What do you think? Should I make a bid? It's a lot cheaper than making buying everything new from valve.

I've played them through a few times for the story, I get really bored of the gameplay quickly. I'm a perfectionist so I redo each fight until I don't lose any health :/ which gets boringkyrieee

I'm the same way except I don't get bored. I replay Max Payne 2 and Far Cry shootouts constantly - I MUST DO IT WITHOUT GETTING SHOT!!!

It has the best non-RPG story I've seen in a PC game yet. The only games that beat it are 50 - 100 hour RPGs (e.g. KOTOR).

I love this game. For me this is the only game with the best story line. And the gameplay is awsome with the cool Matrix like moves andweapons. I never did play the first part but i sure took my time with Max Payne: The Fall of Max Payne. It's so interesting, I think people shoud realymake time and play it. portossthedog

i have never bought a game without a demo. besides half life.

that's good but that's your problem too, if there won't be a demo i can always read preview, review, screenshots, trailers, gameplay videos - demo isn't always necessary

I beg to differ. its nesscary to know if the game doesn suck. Dev teams just LOVE to make preview moves with a bunch of craop thats eother fmv, not in the actual game or using cameras that aren't in the game etc. If a game doesnt have a demo there no way in hell id buy it.

eh - so far the new Harry Potter demo sucked badly - my friend finished the full game - and he said it's so cool

I dual boot with XP and Vista. XP is rock solid. Vista is a buggy mess.

Vista has some great features (mainly SuperFetch - that mofo rocks the ciz-ocks!). But it is NOT ready for prime-time.
