"I'm not sure anyone has figured out a solution that works for everyone, and there simply may not be one until someone figures out how to include developers and publishers in the loop on used games sales instead of keeping it all for themselves."
Let me guess this straight. So when I buy the game I am already giving money to the devs and publishers. Why would I give another share when I am selling the copy.
@zappobubble Victoria from Absolution whoops ass at the final level. Assassin's Creed - no main female character, but look at the Ezio trilogy.Almost all the females there are strong independent women: Claudia (who becomes an assassin) , Caterina,Rosa etc...Even Ezio's wife was looking after her own in Constantinople Dead Space - what about Ellie. She is the one who starts the mission which will save humanity.
@rebelguy0 @inaka_rob Half-life 2 is developed by Valve which was a small company back then. The credits were 1 minute long. And this game won the game of the decade.
@DarkNeoBahamut There was an episode in Malcolm in the Middle where Malcolm bought a bunch of christmas trees and in the end they made a profit...of 50 cents....that's how the Journey Devs see their profit.
Let me add something.I'm a PC gamer. That means I own ONE PC to do all my things: gaming, study, browsing, etc.I admit PS3 is good console but I am the type of gut who would like to have all his games in one place.Plus I prefer PC Exclusives over consoles : strategies, MMOs,etc and in my opinion I think PC+Games is just more reasonable to me than PC+Console+Games just for a few exclusives.
If Journey was multiplatform this article wouldn't exist.I mean the game is awesome, but I'm not willing to spent an extra (insert PS3 price here) dollars just for one exclusive, neither are most of the gamers.
