i am going to post again, i was going to say Who here can post some low res screens from crysis for me? i want to know what results i am getting, oh and i found a x800 pro ati radeon agp 256mb sapphire card.
The last time I checked on the old 6800 cards, of lower priced ones, only the awful 6800 "XT" had 256 MBs for AGP. The Vanilla 6800 was 128 MBs. The XT model is the same as an LE/ SE, badly crippled, to the extent that a 6600 GT made a lot more sense at a lower price for the same performance. I doubt that an XT model of the 6800 would run Crysis at all well !
You need to go looking for the used X800 cards; they make a lot better choice for AGP (there was a 6800 GT for AGP with 256 MBs on it. I know, because I'm using one of those right now, but eBay sellers won't price it low enough for you).
age does not matter, but i will say i have a P4HT. 3.0GHZ, 734MBS DDR, erm i do not know if the agp is 4x or 8x. i am having a problem trying to locate the drivers on this pc also.
Go for it, not too many great games coming out this year. but there isnt that much to make fun of. afterall The failure rate of PS3 is lower, it has a built in bluray player, a built in web browser, its linux friendly, the hard drive can be upgraded, and the rumble is coming back, it upscales games and dvd to 1080p. i don't know, and the 2008 lineup is sweet! i won't bash 360 or Wii, they are good too.
Yeah, another thousand of Hellfire's Halo 3 screenshots... Come witha straight face and say that Halo 3 is just Halo 2 in High-Definiton, you can't. Halo is colorful, bright, and exciting, and should be considered one of the best looking games.
