[QUOTE="Zaeryn"]Good riddance, I say.animateria

I have noticed a pattern after going through most of the pages this topic. More often then not people who don't like Jeff like anime. Is it because he has expressed his dislike for anime on many occasions or is it just coincidence?

Coincidence mate. I absolutely love anime, (Though I scream bloody murder to anyone who mentions Naruto or DBZ or similar junk), and laughed when he said anime sucks.

Anime isn't for everyone, its a niche medium afterall.

your calling dragonball junk? maybe its silly because all the characters do in the show is talk crap to each other and save the day. but gimme a break. there is so many new animes coming out that i cannot even tell the characters apart. they aren't even memorable anymore. its a shame. all this next generation anime blows. so sick of girls like the one in your signature looking all the same or similar. atleast you can tell goku or sailor moon apart by thousands of anime or manga. but something like bleach could only be remembered for its words and the name of the show. everyone is the same! japan is getting generic with anime.

i know, i loved looking at reviews here. i mean i have been visiting this site since 2000 since i was very little. and until 2004 i started to see the personality of the people on this site. everyone here reviewing games is pretty straight forward. the only time i have disagreed with a review was perfect dark zero. because i think i analyized that game more then anybody. it didnt deserve the 9.0 it got, it was so broken compared to the original perfect dark. then you have people complaining over twilight princess, you know what makes me mad about that review? the fact that everyone disagreed with it because he was pretty much realistic about it, then you have that video game prey that floped on here. 3DRealms didnt really care what he said because they already had fan forums who were all over this games bum. 3drealms kept saying "7.5? um no." despite the fact it wasn't revolutionary once so ever. people forget that jeff reviewed Almost every tony hawk game and his opinion is pretty realistic on those aswell. by the way, he gave ocarina of time a 10. so he has a right to flop twilight princess. people need to do research on this site more. but i tell you what Really bumbs me out the most. i was waiting to see jeff review grand theft auto 4. now he didnt get too :cry: afterall these years.

Would everyone stop using that craptastic picture of Jeff Gerstmann as Che Guevara? He's probably doing a face-smack of shame everytime he sees it.

God bless CNET, Kane and Lynch, Jeff Gerstmann, and games, and ginger pork.

who cares, if you don't like it. then block it out of your mind. even when somebody make that sig with little or no effort. its already having a big effect.

We need a sign of solidarity to show Gamespot our discontent. I'm not sure what we should do, but it has to be big, and effect the site in a tangible way. Any ideas?

[QUOTE="QuasidodoJr"]That's the funny thing about being Editor-in-Chief. No one looks over your reviews when you're the one in charge of looking over everyone's review.Skylock00

I'm pretty sure that they've said in the past that their reviews need to be looked over by multiple parties before they can be posted regardless of whether the Editorial Director posts it or an Associate Editor posts it.

This is true. At the very least someone like Alex probably had to have looked over the review, as well as a few other editors, which leads me to wonder where the claim that the editors were being bribed or threatened comes into play (at least, before the review was posted). Wouldn't someone else on the editorial team tried to do something to review before posting it up if that was the case?

That's why, again, my anger isn't directed to any of the editors here.
