Demon sould is going to be an incredible game. I will buy it day 1.

At least i would if it were coming out in Europe... Looks like I'll be getting a game imported for the frst time...

Seriously in another thread someone has gotten publisher backing to create a forklift simulator, and yet this game cannot get a publisher for Europe...

Im sorry but just wait a min here...

Just think for a second.

1) somebody actually thought this was a good idea for a game

2) this person actually found a publisher to fund this game. This means that this person created a presentation, showed it to a bunch of rich people and they actually liked what they saw. And gave him money.

3) this person then spent months or even years creating this game, without ever having second thoughs.

4) and now people are actually going to buy this

When you think of it like that, this is pretty dam incredible...

Wow your post inspired me to create a simulation game that simulates people photocopying and faxing in the office.

Im still just imagining being in a confrence room with 12 investors. Giving a presentation on why i think a forklift simulator will generate millions of sales. And then at the end all 12 applauding me and giving me a big wad of cash and saying I can actually use their hard earned cash to make this game... If getting game publishers to back your ideas is that easy i might go to activision now about my ideas to create a walking simulator. "walking... the game. Why get tired doing in the real worl when you can walk for miles virtually without breaking a sweat?" *starts creating speech*

This is that game the bbc reporter was shown, but was sworn to secrecy a year ago at E3.

Just to jog your memories:

Sony has up its sleeves a top-secret game headed to PS3 in 2009 that will apparently showcase a new standard in "story-telling and immersion" on games consoles.

The BBC reports having been shown supposedly "in-game" footage of the super-confidential title, but has been sworn to secrecy.

"I was shown a trailer for a game not due out till 2009 but was sworn to absolute secrecy," says the BBC reporter.

"Apparently, Sony just wanted to give a glimpse of what the console will be capable of."

He goes on to add: "In fact, the game is such a secret that when I mentioned the game to Phil Harrison last week he was unsure at first whether even to admit the title existed. When I explained I had been shown it under strict Non Disclosure Agreement terms he looked relieved."

Being careful not to reveal any specific details, he goes on to say: "I don't mean to be a tease - all I can say is that I was left speechless.

"If the footage I was shown truly is 'in game', as told to me by the Sony PR people, then we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion," reads the excited report.

Hopefully it won't turn out to be another CGI 'target tech' trailer like the early Killzone 2 footage. And hopefully it's God of War III.

Sounds brilliant.

Its hard to say really.

Halo 3 is pretty good fun. Especially with 4 player co-op. Gears 2 isnt bad either, but its not great online either...

But then killzone 2 is brilliant, like COD4 (my fav online shooter) but with 2x the players. And resistance has that cool co-op thing...

I'll go with Killzone 2 and resistance. Halo 3 is much better than resistance 2 onine, by miles. But I love KZ2 online plus gears 2 wasnt great online imo.

I got gold a few days ago and its not too bad.

Its pretty much a run and gun shooter. Its quit eold school PC in that you all start outwith the same basic guns, and have to look around for better things.

You have to keep moving so you dont get shot from behind, and most fights are very close up and generally end with melee attacks.

What is cool though is you can have 4 player splitscreen online, and there are vehicles. If youve played warhawk its like that but more run and gun, and in first person obviously.

Though tbh if your aomeone who has played games like COD4 and Killzone 2 a ton until you get to high ranks you will fins yoiurself toppin leaderboards a lot.

Most fights end up with 2 players running at eachother shooting, and the winner is generally whoiever is most daring, has the best weapon, or gets a hit in first.

When playing online you can either A) Play split screen online with 2 gold accounts on ranked and unranked playlists or B) Play split screen online with 1 gold account and other player as the guest in unranked playlists only. If your friend had Gold, he could recover his account and play online on ranked and unranked.-RocBoys9489-
Ah ok. Its good Ive got the second player signed in as guest THANKYOU!!! lol you can always rely on this place for good answers fast :)

Hi just quickly I just tried to play online with a friend splitscreen. I have just a few days ago bought Xbox live gold but when the second player signs in it wont let him play a the guest user does not have gold.

Surely there is an option to have the other person play? Or do I have to pay another £30???

If there is a way of having a second player online for the splitscreen multiplayer an explanation of how to use it would be brilliant since Ive not found it yet.

Thanks :)
