I don't bother to read these things anymore. I just look at the pictures and watch the Youtube videos. Seriously the only real difference I saw was as I said, PS3 is lighter and 360 is darker, as well as grass detail. That wristband or whatever he has on his arm seemed shinier on the 360. It isn't a massive difference like consoles to PC, only a very slight one.
Its not slight. I dont think im being overly critical on this. Im sick and tired of PS3 getting shorted on these multiplatform games, esepacily when the Devs come out and say with a straight face "The games will be identical". I think I just need to have my PS3 for Exclusvies, which is kinda bad isnt it? I mean, that basicaly assures my 360 is better since im palying it more by degault due to everything these days being multiplat.
Its a brightness/contrast thing moreso than anything else. I watched the youtube comparison, the PS3 versions framerate held pretty steady at 30 FPS, much better than the constant drops found in AC2, also the screen tearing is minimal.
The point is if you turn up the brightness, the 360 version will look like the PS3 one shown in the video. Thus if you turn down the brightness in the PS3 one or do whatever with your contrast and tv settings it will look darn near the same as the 360 one.
My tv is always on a bit darker than the default brightness mode because it makes my games look too bright and washed out, so thats why I adjust my settings.
