@Nirgali: Well, I'm back in the game again.

Looks like I can't post on gamespot forums anymore. Apparently I've posted too many messages in a row. Wait, I haven't posted anything in over a month. Lolwut?

Also, looks like we have a new folder in the group!

I usually just wait it out. Also looks like my client at work stopped again.

I think you should consider something. It sounds like there are people interested in doing more than sit back and wait for gamespot to do something. A leader should reevaluate his or her station when he or she begins saying things like "I'd be willing to do something if it is worth my effort." This union should be actively helping other unions live again or support the most active unions by brainstorming ideas. Union leaders should at the very least do like what I did with GSFolders and link an active forums topic to a union so that when unions become the focus of GS dev, members will be one step away. I went a step further and made the most active forum users officers of the union. Other leaders may not know to try things like that. This union has a purpose and it isn't serving that purpose sitting around crying over why it is inactive or theorizing gamespot's "lack of concern". The truth of the matter is, unions didn't just suddenly become useless after the novelty wore off. They still provide more features to communities than the forums, but many forum users aren't aware of that without active recruitment and marketting.

I didn't realize you lost me. I thought my work PCs were running. I just moved my cubicle across the building and the clients auto started when I logged in. I'll keep a closer eye on them. The client changes made it is easy to forget about it if I don't use the computers for anything processor intensive, if at all.

There is a long list of known union bugs the gamespot developers have seemingly put on the backburner for so long that I believe we will see a massive overhaul for unions in the "soon®" future. You should start reaching out to the biggest unions which have the most to gain from a replacement union system and drum up some interest so it gives gamespot more incentive to complete said theoretical overhaul. Reach out to the GameSpot community leaders and see if they can shed some light on this topic. I'm almost certain someone like JodyR would be willing to do what she can within the precedural guidelines. ^.^

It is reasonable enough to run by itself.

Also the stupid AMD card started minor glitches again. I couldn't play games with the beta drivers and I can't fold with the stable drivers. So... naturally games win.

The fuel burned out. I'm no longer folding at home. I'm only folding at work. ^.^  I need to build up my emergency fund again and start saving for blizzcon.
