As I indicated in my blog, I won a game, got two points, then lost a game due to a feeder and poor team work. I lost 20 points and am pushed back to 50. I was digging my way out of the current bracket, but this makes me very reluctant to play solo ranked. Anyone know what Riot is doing by destroying a winning streak with a 20 point penalty?
Cool. The video card might be too old to use anyway. By the way, we have regained control of the folding team. I wrestled it from the original owner since he has been out of touch for several years.

On the state of the [folding] union, I've submitted the request to support for leadership transfer. I'm going to clean it up so it doesn't look stale ^.^ Also it will be nice to have topics on topic, instead of one long thread about everything. :)
I'm about to take over leadership of the gamespot folding union. We currently have 6 or so gamespot members actively participating in folding @ home and we brought our team to rank 400, up from 450 six months ago, that's rank by total work units processed by gamers' computers. In order to help the team grow further, I decided I would necro the folding union and this post seemed like a great way to show support for the council and folding unions.
Unions are still useful as they provide more features than a user created board. There is still interest in Unions and I get the sense they are not going away any time soon.
So regarding the folding union, I'll start by unstickying old posts and replacing them with new stickies to give the appearance of activity. I'll follow that with a few posts on the blog with some updated information to help people get started in folding. Other ideas are welcome! :)
