lets be realistic. Sony says the PS3 is going to stay around for 10 years. I doubt it. First of all the graphics on the PS3 are going to be out of date in another 3 years compared to pc graphics. I have a high end pc and oblivian looks a lot better on the PC then the PS3. I stopeed playing the PS2 about 8 months before the the 360 came out because the graphcis were not even close to the PC graphics at the time.
As far a Blue Ray DVD, this will be the last of the DVD era. within the next couple of years everything will be digital. no discs it will all be flash memory. I rather watch a movie off of my cable box then go rent a movie.
When Ibought mine. Iwas very suspcioius because on all the PS3 at target, the circle plastic clear tape was loose like it was alreaedy opened. But they told me that is how they came. THe tape didnt have any of the box ripped off of it and sticking too it. I examined my very carefully when opening it and there is no way it was ever touched by a human. Did anybody else notice that?
PGR 3 and PGR 4. Forza 2 feels so slow. They say it is a racing sim. but I dont think they have ever raced.The cars have no feel. They are missing the most important thing about racing. IT IS THE SPEED. I race touring cars in the SCCA and PGR 3 has the most realistic controls and feel of racing currently on the 360.
When are they going to update the controller. The design of the controller is 12 years old and the dual shock controller came out 10 years ago. I love my Ps3 but the controller is ruining my game experiences especially with racing games. Playing motorstorm and Formula 1 CE (favorite game) my right index finger hurts like know other trying to hold down the R2 button. They need a better design. I cant use the X button because yo have to press it down so hard just to get full throttle in Formula 1 CE. I wish the x button was digital.
PC versions will be 10 times better graphics wise with the right PC and easier controls with the mouse and keyboard. But I think the reason why PC games are cheaper is because it take more money to get a descent computer to run the game, and they probably dont sell as many copies on the PC as the 360.
Way overrated!!! takes about 8 hours to go through the game. Storyline is a disappointment. No Multi-player. Anybody who owns a PC will tell you this game is about average. tons of better fps shooters out there.
Same here on PGR3, I still play the game since launch online. This is the type of game that deserves a 9.5 rating. unlike other games that get high ratings and have no replay value like bioshock and RE4 which lasted about 8 hours and then no desire to play the games again.
Also gears of wars I still play online occasionally.
