I just move in to a big house and this time I have to go wireless to go on xbox live, I have a desktop on my 3rd floor so I set up my wureless router there to hard wire my desktop. Now my xbox 360 is in my living room on the first floor so I have to get a a network/game adapter to talk to my router on the 3rd floor. Last night I was on our laptop on the first floor and it did drop the connection a few times , however this also used to have happened at my old address when I had DSL. I am also looking on amazon.com right now looking for an adapter and I am thinking about getting the one from Linksys instead of the more expensive one from Microsoft . So my ?s are these... Do any of you guys have a long distance between your console and your router and is your connection just fine? Which network adapter should I get? I dont need to have a perfect connection all the time because I am not online often nowadays but at the same time , I don't want disconnects all the time. What do you guys say?

thats a ninja gaiden problem not a system or new game problem

how do you explain what Bioshock did to my system then? I am starting to think maybe this is a problem with the older systems , I guess that makes the most sense.

After my Bioshock game damaged my system.I got another sent to me. The lady I dealt with over the phone had said that because newer games have great graphics , it causes games to freeze. I couln't believe such a thing that such a powerful machine could have this problem. I was trying to fisnish up Ninja Gaiden 2 tonight but when it gets to the point right before the Daga Drai battle (spelling?) , the game freezes. Not only does it freeze but the screen goes black and only thing you can do is turn off system manually . I did three times and I still can't load up the final stage of the game . I had a similar issue with this game in earlier chapters while loading one of those Vigor challenges but I was able to advance. I hardly play games nowadays but this is my only current game with issues and I don't think its the game itself. I have heard similar stories about GTA4 which I may still get but not if it freezes all the time. How do you guys deal with this crap and how many of you have this problem? Thanks

I has playing Bioshock when my system stopped working . I sent it in for repair and luckily they fixed it for free. I just received aother system. I again went back to playing Bioshock and after an hour or so , the game became slow freezing a bit almost unplayable. The next day I was playing Ninja Gaiden 2 demo when it completely froze. Now that had to be the system because I find it hard to believe a demo will freeze. I have heard that some newer games with great graphics can cause your system to fail. Is this true??? If it is, then it is very retarded that such a nice system has this problem. Now I am forced to quit playing Bioshock when I am deep in the game and maybe send this console in for anothetr. What do you guys think?

If you have the new 360 shouldn't it be under warranty? if not just call them back and tell'em your getting the RROD only the right top is not blinking red. I get pissed and ask the guy, why do i pay for xbox live and i can't use it.....lol he gave me a month free. For myself this is the 3rd time i had to send it in for repair.

Shas02

no I dont have a new 360 this is the 2nd time I need it repaired. Again the guy had said that if when they receive the console and it doesn't have the RROD , then they would charge me $99. I also just had my xbox live renewed and I feel like flipping out on them but I want my console repaired not just 1 month free. Is there a way to get the RROD so I don't have to pay that stupid fee?

Please help me! I was playing Bioshock the other night when the picture got all crazy so I tried restarting my system only to have no picture or sound. I called Xbox support and the lady had me go through some steps and momentarily had the 3 red flashing red lights but then they went away. She explained that the problem could be with newer 360 games that have great graphics which somehow damage the system. She suggested I try my console on another tv to make sure it was not my tv and if that didnt work Microsoft would repair it after I called back. I tried on my non HD tv but this time I had sound but still no picture, After I called back , the guy said that it would cost me $99 because the problem was not the 3 red lights. I told him what the first lady had told me and he insisted that when they receive the console and the 3 red lights are not there then they would call me to ask if I want to pay $99. This is so freaking unfair because I never move my system and I take care of it so I know its nolthing I did. I had already had my first console replaced and it's such a shame that such a powerful system has these many problems. I told the guy I would call back because I wanted to know what you guys thought. Sorry but i didnt want to read almost 50 pages to find the answer. What should I do?
