I slept on this last night... (and I am running out of time to make a decision....) Is it really that bad of a decision to return the EVGA 670FTW 4gig, and get the Galaxy 780 3gig (or the PNY 780 3gig)? (As opposed to waiting several months for the EVGA Step Up Program?) It will cost me roughly $20-$30 less to do this... and on top of that, I would get a new 60 day return (for any reason) window at Best Buy.... Any thoughts on that? Any thoughts on Galaxy vs. EVGA vs. PNY? I dont know much about any of these companies... I just want a card that's gonna work, and work well for me for the next 3-5 years....
I appreciate the one post who mentioned that this is a complicated issue. (Cause it's driving me nuts!) I could also throw out that I would be more likely to SLI the 770 in 6-12-18 months... (and keep in mind I am not sure I fully understand SLI either) As opposed to getting a 780... where I doubt I would ever afford to SLI one of those. Does that change things at all? And thank you again for all opinions. I am leaning towards using EVGA's Step Up program and getting the 780 from them.... but my wife very well may kill me when I do...
I have an opportunity to upgrade my 55 day old EVGA FTW 4gig GTX 670 to a new card (long story, can elaborate if need be) My options to upgrade are: EVGA 3 gig 780 for $220 EVGA 2 gig 770 for a $50 loss (yep, I will lose $50 if I go this route) Galaxy 3 gig 780 for $192 PNY 3 gig 780 for $174 Galaxy 2 gig 770 and get $50 back PNY 2 gig 770 and get $60 back I guess one of my questions is that I don't fully understand the importance of 2 vs 3 vs 4 gigs on a GPU (as I am new to computer gaming... coming over from consoles.) When I do get rid of the GTX 670 with 4 gig's, is going to a 770 with only 2 gig's a big deal? If I am allowed to add my wife's vote, she would like me to spend ZERO, and/or get some money back... so that is a factor. I appreciate any and all opinions. Thank you!
If either of those 2 games come out in the uk, i wont be buying either. Last Baseball i played and enjoyed was on the Megadrive/Genesis in around 1995 lol. Not a popular sport here i'm afraid!metaluk
Trying to decide what Baseball game to get... I have never played the "The Show" series before... So what do you guys think? What baseball game will you be getting? MLB2k8 or MLB08 The Show?
