Ok, so I have been able to get this to work when I am at my house.... and that's cool, but I REALLY want it to work when I am at work.... So I am trying it at work now... and no luck. When at home, I select (on the PSP) *Remote Play *Connect via Private Network (I then select my Access Point when prompted, NOT the PS3, but my access point itself) It then works like a charm. So I tried that at work today, same steps, but when I get to access point I select my work instead of my home. I get an error message that says "The PS3 system that this system is registered with was not found...." blah blah blah I assume I need to use the Private network option ONLY when I am at home. And if I am at home, or work, and I try changing things up by selecting: * Remote Play *Connect via Internet (and then selecting either my home or work account, depending on where I am, I first get a message that says "Please wait... It will take at most 90 seconds to connect." But then it just quits and says "A connection error has occurred. The connection to the PS3 system has timed out." So does anyone know a way I can fix this? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

connect PSP via USB.

Set PSP to USB Mode

PS3 System\Remote Play\Register device

PS3 Network\Remote Play\Start

PSP Network\Remote Connect to PS3

The PS3 will act like a router for the PSP or you can go through a WiFi Router to the PS3 via your own network.

So long as PS3 is in Remote Play mode, the PSP can connect to it.

To copy files from PS3 to PSP, you have to connect the PSP via USB Mode and then the PS3 see's it as a memory card.

Well it does work for me. Although ill specify i have a 60 gig, maybe its the emulation software. Our best bet would be to call Sony and ask if its a known problem. If it is known there might be a way to work around it. If not, report it. You can't fix a problem if you don't know you have it.

Since its a Sony entertainment game i'm sure they at least have an idea of what the problem is.

I haven't tried calling, but I have been posting on the official forums... and everyone there is clueless. I have a friend who has the 60 gig, and it plays fine for him... so I fear it is an 80 gig issue. Can anyone with an 80gig play Champions on line?

[QUOTE="NoWareMan9"][QUOTE="NoWareMan9"]Bump, anyone else have any ideas?jimm895

I know people can play this on PS3's on Line... so there has to be a fix... any and all help is appreciated. thanks!

Did you check to see if the PS2 data download is still on the PSN store because it had patches for PS2 games that needed or used a HDD.

Yeah, it is. And it didn't help. I also put the disk that came with my slim PS2 into the system and it let me create a connection. champions of Norrath sees that connection, but it still says no hardware is connected. Can anyone get CoN to work on an 80 gig (playing on line) ?????

Have you tried playing any other game online to see if any of your other games work?

For me to play ps2 games online all i had to do was create a Network setting and save it to my created ps2 memory card on the ps3 harddrive. Make sure your Network settings are correct.

Ive been playing socom 2 and CA wireless through my ps3 just fine without any problems... Also Resident Evil Outbreak before it was shutdown.

I also have the 80gig model so my guess is you're entering your network settings incorrect.

I dont think I have any other PS2 online games. And CoN wont let me enter any network settings... it says something like my hardware is missing when I try to set up my connection. :( Any other ideas?

Hey everyone, I am a new PS3 owner, got it for Christmas.. and I LOVE it. But last night I was trying to play Champions of Norrath (PS2) with some friends, and it wont let me connect. I have an 80 gig system, and the game plays fine, but when I try to join my buddies on line, it wont let me create a Network Setting. It says "No Hardware is Connected" What do I need to do to make this work?

[QUOTE="NoWareMan9"]I show 5 units completed... But at least twice my bar filled to 100%, and I didnt get it counted as a completed unit... anyone know why that is?

So does anyone know why I can have the bar fill to 100% and not get credit for it?
