Im going to reply right now before people start screaming i7 and GTX 2**, If you have any morals get a mid-high end PC dont go extreme 1000+ for a PC is wrong: - You dont need anything more than a 4870 along with a Core 2 duo at 2.66GHz and 4 gigs of DDR2 ram... put your money to better use. Im running a 8800GTS (320MB) and a Core 2 Duo at 2.2GHz and Im having no trouble playing every game maxed with some AA at 1280*1024 exlcuding crysis but its still the same experience on medium-high.

Fact: a crash = cheaper product to the consumer. I would love to pay less for games. The cost to make a high end game will remain high, and there would be fewer, but my bank account could use a rest.cainetao11
Fact: a crash = less money for developers/less of a chance that a developer would take a risk on a new concept = cheap rehashes for you and me!

No, spend those 5 mins with your loved ones because on your death bed you would only wish to have 5 minutes more.

[QUOTE="No_Quoter"]The 8500GT is faster than the 7600GT and that had no problem running BF2 for me on medium-high at 1280x1024 so I can't understand why the game lags on your system but I can speculate as to what might be the issue, so: -What resolution do you play at? -Do you have sufficient power?(what power supply are you using, if you don't know the name/model then state the specs if possible) But as others have pointed you into a direction you wouldn't mind heading towards then I say go for it and get a better GPU.360nut

I tried all types of resolutions and my power supply is 520wats duel fan thats all i can get from the box its called supreme power. also it still lags on the low settings at the lowest res

Then something is wrong with your PC.

No need unless your desperate for that 1-5 frames extra in performance. If your in need of performance get a better CPU... but that may need a new motherboard.

I've completed oblivion numerous times with different races and well will probably do it again, I've also played through half-life/2/ep1/ep2, Fear, Bioshock, Gears of war, Call of Duty 4 and many many more games more than several times. On certain occasions where im spoilt for choice because I got greedy in game(UK) and braught 2 games at once then that could be a different story but in the long term I do eventualy complete every game and 40% of them do get replayed... usualy if I can replay a game I can do it more than once like Fear I've probabaly beat the campaign 10-15 times.

[QUOTE="ralle_22"]Are you about to overclock it? then take the Phenom 9600 othervise you should pick the Athlon 64 x2 7750 Most games out there only suport 2 cores and then 2.3GHz is often to slowbluewrxman
im not really planning to overclock though...

Go for the 7750 BE if you can if not then still the 7750, I dont see what all the fuss is about aslong as you have moderatly powerfull dual core CPU along with a mid range graphics card+ your not going to notice much of an improvement if your lucky maybe 5-10 frames, now if your not playing Crysis those frames wont make much of a difference since you'll be running them at 40-80FPS with out the overclock... I have a E4400 core 2 duo at 2.0GHz along with an 8800GTS(320mb) and im not struggling in any game at 1280x1024 (exluding crysis/warhead).
