I've been playing Dark Souls nonstop since it came out and I love it. However, I think I like Demons Souls more. Maybe because it's more linear O_O

I'd say go get a new weapon, basically any upgraded basic weapon with reasonable stats to back it up will be better at that point. If you really want to upgrade it, go to Ash Lake (below the swamp, it sucks to get to and out of), there's 3 or 4 dragon scales there.

I would start looking for a new weapon to upgrade. The Drake Sword becomes obsolete quite fast

Okay, also what shield do you recommend? I currently have the Crystal Shield.

It's definitely my game of the year so far, I will try Skyrim though. Mass Effect 3 will be awesome, but I don't think it will come close to Dark Souls.

I hope it's interesting, I loved the Killzone series and think Guerrila Games is great at making FPS titles.

I got my copy in the mail today, I was so excited. It turns out though that Best Buy sent me the regular edition instead of the collectors edition I ordered! I immediately called them and they said they ran out. They offered me a $20 gift card, I was extremely disappointed. They said they will call me back, I hope they do. I want that art book!

Just ordered this and God of War Origins collection off Amazon for $60. Love the $20 off for buying multiple collections. I've never played either of these games back when I had a PS2, so this is going to be my first experience. I can't wait!
