When even the development team for Crysis says that the game will probably be available on consoles (somewhat different) then I am to take your comment as a grain of sand.
I do it every now and then but I usually keep to myself. It is extremely annoying when your own team has some 13 year old talking crap to his own teammates because they got his kill. This just happened to me recently, man I wanted to rip the kids head off. It seems to me that those mostly likely to talk smack are usually those with the lowest level of intelligence. I've witnessed nothing but stupidity when enduring the immature vocal harassment.
I lie to my parents all the time, I tell them things like, "I would never do drugs", or "sure, I'd love to spend time with you." When you lie, your actually more of an adult, its all part of growing up.

You're a complete idiot if you actually believe that lieing to your parents in this specific manner is more "adult like". Lieing is a method of fleeing from responsiblity, self-control and obligation. If you lie then you don't have to face the consequences and so on. This not not growing up or being an adult. Your a coward and a fool for posting such a immature opinion and the other guy that agreed with you is no better.
As for GoW: I wouldn't lie to your mother just to get a game that you will play for twelve hours a week and possibly lose your Xbox 360 over. I would attempt to pursuade using your option of turning off the gore. She is being a bit strict in my opinion.
