As a European that plays Bravely Default right now I just have to say that it's a fantastic masterpiece and every US 3ds owner needs to get this pearl at the start of february next year,Truly a marvelous gem.

This year is going to be an interesting matchup. I can easily see that the games “The last of us” and “Beyond two souls” have an enormous fan base and that many view them as game of the year material. The further I scroll down this page I see lots of comments implying that “The last of us” is without question the game that will crown over the others, and that some people are “done” with GS for not including BTS. I enjoyed most of these games and realistically “The last of us” has some tough competition, primarily from GTA5. Bioshock Infinite and Ni no Kuni are also fantastic games, and shouldn’t be laughed at in consideration for the nr 1 spot. Black Flag also has an enormous fan base perhaps equal to “The last of us”. If the masses and what most people like is taken into consideration then the tittles of “The last of us” and Black Flag stand strong, but even then they are not even close to the popularity of GTA5.

one of the best games released on the 3ds in 2013 alongside Bravely Default. Those two games made me get the 3ds.

@Kevin-V @itsmedudas

Kevin is a professional interviewer and he's doing an interview not a debate, when you interview someone the interviewer is humble giving the target as much space to talk about their viewpoints as possible. The interviewer wants to get as much information and detail from their target. There was absolutely not a single thing wrong with how he acted, asked, presented or behaved during this interview.

Kevin you were calm, concentrated and personally as another viewer of this interview, I deeply thank you for making this top notch interview with that game director. It was easy to see that you took this very seriously and asked questions that people wanted to know.

Please continue your work like you do. You’re the cream top of Gamespot and they’re lucky to have you on board.

To buy a game instead of downloading it is entierly up to every single individual for their own spesific reason. i don't feel good or bad if someone does either because I guess theres more to it like for instance the fact that not everyone is rich or have money at the time. When people like me and my friends buy games it's because we either want the games on a console or support the developers. thats whats significant with buying games, you support the specific industry by doing it, and even though I don't like piracy im not going to be butthurt over the fact that people do it. false advertisment, having to high expectations for a game because you want to get your moneys worth are some reasons to why people pirate because (like me) feel cheated on by the people behind the game or the company that drives it (EA, Capcom). If you pirate a game and love it, you might buy it and that is perhaps the best kind of purchase one can do because not only do you know what your actually buying but your doing it because you feel that these developers deserve your money or something like that.

SquareEnix is one of the best companis even though enix was added they made FF10 and the Kingdom hearts series so they still have a lot of promise. FF tactics, Kingdom Hearts, mana series. so great games. what peoplealso have to take into account is that FF versus has been in production since before 2007 meaning that several years, over halv a decade has been into making this game. much more time than on both FF13 and FF13-2. Also the Kingdom Hearts team is behind the combat system, (which is why KH3 will take forever to make). I have no doubt it will be a great game when it comes out and a cinematic experience that only Squareenix can provide.

@ChaoticLucidity but to get to the full potential of the gambit system and changing it was in my point of view a fun experience. what I mean is that it's fun until you get there but it takes a long time to create the best gamebit system. I understand what your saying and yes much of the fighting was boring, just simply watching your character fight did make you watch yet I personaly have no problem pree setting the matchers and watching but also the hunts were my drive, fighting King Behemoth and Yiasmat. the sidequests and "extra" bosses there was plenty of and you could customize your characters in many ways.
