@Dannystaples14 @ROLLER_CHK It just depends on the types of games that people like to play these days. I personally like more strategy, rpg, puzzle types of games than your 1st person shooters. The only 1st person shooter I really loved was Halo. CoD is okay to me. In terms of franchises, I would put tons of games over CoD. I wouldn't say CoD is so fun that I need to buy a PS4 or an Xbox One. Even though you (don't mean you, just mean in general) might not buy a Wii U for a Zelda game, Nintendo is the only console I would say is good enough to buy if basing it off of it's exclusive games as compared to Sony and Microsoft.
@scoobdog02 I was wondering the same thing. I want to get a PS4 but the Xbox One has the better exclusives at the moment. Graphics don't matter too much to me, I'm for the better gameplay. Sony's marketing team is genius. They make it seem like if you don't have a game at 1080p, 60 fps you can't be playing a good game, which is completely not true. If graphics will matter so much in the future the only thing that will separate consoles are exclusives.
@Azure_Nova So good graphics and gameplay. Yep, don't want that game. (sarcasm) You do the same things game after game in AC. I never hear anybody talking about the story anymore after they released AC2. Most games these days have stellar graphics, meh story and meh gameplay. This is a step above most. I personally can't play a game just because of good graphics, I value gameplay higher.
@pointingmonkey I agree. Gameplay over graphics. A lot of indie developers have proved that you don't need 60 fps, 1080p to make a great game. It's like icing on the cake for me but I don't only eat cakes with icing, lol. As long as it tastes good that's all that matters, lol. Got a little of topic, sorry, lol.
So at least it looks great. Gamers have been harping on about graphics for the past year so they get a game with it and what do they do. Complain. So you want a game to have stellar graphics and gameplay? Smdh. Funding and development can only be spent on so much (sarcastic statements). Don't be surprised if other great looking games don't fare so well too because of gameplay. I blame us though for that, A lot of gamers have made it seem like graphics are the end all, be all for a game to be good recently. So where do you expect developers to focus their energy?
I guess Sony gamers don't want new games anymore. I must be the last of a dying breed to want new games and not remakes of games I have already played because there are dust particles in the graphics this time.
