And people say that PS3 is over priced even thought it gives people sooo much more. YES it is an optional but just the LIVE cost alone puts Xbox 360 in same price range with little that PS3 offers!!!
Your logic assumes the Elite is the only option. It is not. Even if you don't have to buy the elite, if you buy the arcade version which costs $280, then add all of that up including the 20gb harddrive and it will still be expensive.
