2. Shattered Horizon was a $20 game that launched as a multiplayer only game andhas more innovationwith the zero g, shooting mechanics and audiothan UC2 could dream of. Why did SH get bad rep?

• 8800GT or above needed
• Single gun at launch with 3 abilities
• 3 grenade types
• 3 modes
• 4 maps at launch
• Promise of free DLC at launch

Since that launch time Futuremark has added 6 new weapons, 3 new grenades, 4 new maps, changes on game modes, and even more free DLC on the way with some larger changes in the works which will be put into beta once the devs are back from their break. SH is a great game that immerses the player in outstanding visuals in a zerog environment. So don't talk when you've obviously never even played the game. Gamespot gave it a 7.5 on PC with only that at launch, if they reviewed the game again it would score higher.

Shattered Horizon is by far a more engrossing experience then all of.. wait, then both of Killzone 2 and Resistances (LOL) MPs combined. :lol:

I mean, at least the games cows hype are AAA. Wenever hermits cry about graphics, they always post some random pic of crysis (modded to hell and back). Its usually not even a game or a level, just a pic of a crysis mod, with 1000 cars stacked ontop of eachother or something. Or some random level where all there is to do is walk around and stare at leaves and trees, with a framerate of 4fps.

Then they post screenshots of games that have the absolute most abysmal art direction you have ever seen (and sometimes even arent that impressive technically). Usually it is of some off hand title that the average person would have never heard of in their life, and when you go to gamerankings it is usually in the 50s-70s. maybe 80s.

No hermits, I dont care that your modded version of Rome total war has thousands of enemies onscreen (a mod that you will try for absolutely no reason, just to test out your graphics card, and get bored of after 20 minutes, and never touch it again)

Or that Arma 2 has some nice looking cloths, textures etc. It doesnt stop it from being ugly as hell, and being rated 77 @ gamerankings.

Or that Shattered Horison has superior textures, it is still an irrelevant game that noone cares about (I bet you couldnt even describe the gameplay of the game to me without first going and watching a trailer of it).

or that stalker has the best lighting in the world that looks so good it can cure cancer. Doesnt stop it from looking absolutely terrible next to Uncharted 2 (both artistically and gameplay wise), and the other PS3 exclusives cows have.

Woopdeedoo, you have a Crysis mod with 400 Humvees stacked on top of eachother just to see how many you could do. :roll: Or 1000 character models on screen standing shoulder to shoulder just for the hell of it. They are good for a tech demo, but what do you have after that?

Ouch, hurts doesn't it. And I find it funny that you worship Uncharted 2, seeing as it copied pretty much it's entire gameplay mechanics from Gears Of War. :lol:

Sorry but your wrong. Is Shogun 2 technically more impressive then UC2? Well sure it is for the amount of detail they have for as much thatas going on screen at a time thats impressive but are the graphics better? Um no. UC2 for the type of game it is does everything top notched. For the graphics to be all out better the charcters would have to look nicer the effects would have to look better and the fact of the matter is thats simply not true. Shgoun detail for an RTS looks great but no it doesnt have better graphics then UC2 it may be technially more impressive but there is a diffrence .
