[QUOTE="O_Lineman17"] [QUOTE="CaseyWegner"]finished it tonight. it's the best game i've played in years. i didn't notice any framerate problems...just the texture popping during cutscenes and that was only a minor distraction.mazdero
I agree with Casey on this one. I don't understand why they complained so much about the framerates. Never during my two times through the game have I found that the frames drop to a point that I become frustrated with the game. I thought it ran fairly smoothly when you put in the scope of this game.
The game was simply amazing. I don't know why some people didn't like the combat, I thought it was a nice new take on TPS. The dialogue and interactions between characters was also great. It felt like it was a movie, jsut that I was in control with that movie.
You guys must not have played the same mass effect I did. The frame rates are pretty bad. It looked like the characters were skipping around the screen at times. Also, the game froze on me three times and I had to turn the 360 off and on again to continue. The texture pop in was not only during cut scenes, it was during game play as well. It was kind of irritating, but the story was so good, you could forgive it. I just wish the main story was longer than it was.
I never stuck to just the main story, I always kind of wandered off. But I have not encountered the players skipping around the frames were so bad. They've been pretty good with me, and I've never had a freezing issue thus far. I play the game in a couple hr intervals at a time though, maybe that has something to do with it. I think the time where I get the biggest frames drops are in bigger battles, but even then it's not too bad, and I don't hardly notice it.
