Been checking out capture cards online. I've been wanting to get one for a while now. Just wanted to know what any of you have and would recommend. Are they easy to install? How about the quality for the price you payed?
I was thinking of picking up Rainbow Six Vegas or Vegas 2, as I'm starting to get a little sick of MW2. Does anyone know or play them and can tell me how big the online communities for the games are? I would imagine more people are on Vegas 2.
Thanks
well ive kept my account. the main reason is because i can hold 3 movies at a time, and i can return them to a blockbuster and get 3 movies at the store and have the 3 movies in my queue making me have 6 movies at once. netflix is cool and all, but it doesnt have all the movies i like online, so i see no point to it really. Also you cant program your xbox to just turn off , so it sucks if you were trying to watch something to go to bed. thats my take on it, with blockbuster you can hold more movies at once, and with netflix you can watch it on your xbox(that you cant put a sleep timer on).

Couldnt you just use the parental settings and have the xbox turn of at 3am? or any other time, I remember a friend talking about doing that

Hey guys, just have a couple questions as its almost time for me to re-up my subscription.
1. Is there any place you can recommend buying the 12 month gold subscription from other then GS? I saw it was 50 at GS and 40 at BB. I wanna try to get the best deal possible.
2. Do you recommend any 3rd party mics? I've used the microsoft one but end up having to get a new headset every couple of months, either the headset breaks and is not wearable or the wires give out. I have thought about investing in Turtle Beaches but I don't know if I'd like voice and game in one piece. Is there anyone who can shed light on the quality of the TB's and if its difficult to hear teammates?
Thanks ppl.
One thing that does worry me is I don't know if its 480/720 or 1080.
Well, last night my 32 inch LCD bit the dust while I was watching TV. It was an off beat brand so I guess I couldn't say I didn't see that happening sooner or later. After doing some TV shopping today I was a little down about the prices. To my surprise though my dad informed me he had reward points he could use to get a LCD, its a 26'' Toshiba and better then my other option which is an old 14'' SD Toshiba sitting in the garage. After doing some reading it seems like a good tv, here's a link for those who want to see it,

My old TV was an off the path brand named Protron but it had a clear picture and my Xbox and PS3 looked superb on it. Will this be a good tv for gaming? I know going from a 32'' to a 26'' is not that big of a change but after 2-3 years with the other one I don't know what to expect and I also want to prevent my dad from wasting points on something that may not be worth it.
you might want to do some checking ( google etc. ) to see if other people have had similar problems and what it was diagnosed as. more times than not when i have a problem with electronics, sw, etc.. other people have had the same problems and solutions can be found looking online.comp_atkins
just starting doing that, its hard to find info since they changed names from Protron to Spectron after I purchased the set. but the few things i found dont make it sound worthwhile as it happened again after being fixed to a few people.

Thanks for that info, I'll have to ask my dad about that when he gets back since he's the one with the membership.

Just called them, they have a similar policy but it excludes electronics.
That SUCKS...the only thing excluded at Sam's is computers...even then people got to return them if they complained enough -my advice would be to bite the bullet and get a new one at Sam's (return forever there) -if you fix yours it may just break again...then you will be in the same boatI may have to bite the bullet and just get a new TV when I can, since I'm in school right now I don't have the time to get it fixed or the dough to get a new one right now. Crappy a** TV!!!
crap this means no Xbox or PS!!
