The most important thing is to make sure it works for your region... if you get an american code it might not work in south africa so make sure first.

I just got my 360 from repair (E74 error) 10 minutes ago and it's working fine. I checked the serial and found out that it's my same console, should I be knocking wood every time I use my 360 or is it better to get the same console from repair?

i already have a ton of games... and i know that i will need to use an hdtv with hdmi. what is rrod and e74? and i never said anything about a refurbished console... are u high or something??pablo80

RRoD = Red Ring of Death... E74 = General System Failure

I mean... If your 360 gets messed up what will you do to get a console? will you send it to an European Repair Center? Cuz they only have PAL consoles...

Here are two problems for you:

European games are PAL so you'll have to import games

If you get the RRoD or E74 where will you send your console? (I guess they won't have NTSC refurbished consoles for you dude :S)
