For whatever reason, I didn't love the WWE Championship DVD. It probably has a lot to do with the fact I owned most of the matches on other DVDs. I think all of the matches prior to Hogan are clipped or highlights. It did allow me to watch the Bret-HBK Ironman match, so that's something, as well as Hogan beating the Iron Shiek (not much of a match, though). Overall, though, it mostly collects dust. Packaging looks bad-ass, though. More of a collector's item, I figure. Probably the match I watch the most from that set is the Cena-Christian-Jericho match. Weird. Everything else that I watch I mostly watch on the other DVDs I've collected. Honestly, I think I watch the IC set more. Watching the Ladder match DVD is exhausting. I get burned out. It really shows how badly WWE overexposed the match, too, from, like 2000-2005, I think. The second ladder match DVD lineup really didn't thrill me.The_Dude14
How is watching awesome matches exhausting? The Ladder match DVD is awesome and there always has to be one person that doesn't like it for whatever rediculous reason. You do realise you can watch a match now and then and not the entire set right?
Also glad someone put down Wrestling With Shadows because its a really good documentry.
But I wouldn't say it puts a wrestler over but more builds hype to the match at the beggining. Its like a build up of music and character as they walk out which hypes me up to their character. Same music on its own and then it just becomes Meh...
[QUOTE="Ocelot619"]Kurt Angle had one of the worst themes of all time Razor-Lazorlol no
Don't get me wrong the theme suited him but I would never go out of my way to listen to the theme on ITunes or something unlike other superstars theme tunes. Nice insightful comment though. Might aswell have written nothing at all.
[QUOTE="pokajabba"]Drew McLyntre, John Cena, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger are not remotely good looking. Seriously my sister and my cousin (girl) think those guys are actually not good looking in the slightest. My sister made the point to say that 'John Cena is the messed up looking version of Matt Damon'.Sexiness takes into account looks and swag. Swag's got swag.
The rest makes more sense though.

Plenty of females think Cena is sexy. Del Rio looks like a boss in a suit. And I fail to see how Drew isn't good looking.
Well... didn't take long for this thread to go all homoerotic. It's my thing.

I wouldn't go as far to say Cena is sexy but he's not bad looking. Del Rio has As***** written all over his face so I'd avoid him if I were a girl. Drew has a wierd circle face and Swagger has a wierd 'I'm a college douchebag' type of face. All in all though I'd say Swagger and Drew are not sexy but I can undertastand if peeps like Cena and Del Rio.
Must say though that I never found Orton the least bit sexy. If his eyes squinted any further then he might never be able to wrestle a match and his face is shaped like sponge bob.
[QUOTE="Ocelot619"]You now look like an idiot because of the fact you read what you WANT to read and hand out accusations that no one is coming up with anything. Nice job.Redders1989I did say I only skimmed over people's posts, not read them in detail. You've quite rightly pointed out that I did miss that.
Sorry I was so harsh. Intense discussions cause people to insult each other.
If you read this pokajobba then I recommend you watch a match of his on ROH. It doesn't change the fact that he's pretty much the ONLY technical wrestler and that his work in WWE is extremely lazy.
That maybe true to some degree but then again you could say if Danielson wanted to be a real competitor then he would show his idea's to the creative team and show he wants to prove you can win MITB and win the title in a realistic way. I'm hoping he will step up with some matches. Punk won the title years ago for the first time but he's only really been championship worthy in the past 2 years and even then he had to cry to get the title arguably. At least he's stepping up with good matches which is the main thing in my book.
It almost feels that Benoit or Eddie would be turning in their graves with how easy and lazy champions are decided today when it took them a looooooong time and they put on a great match to prove they were champion worthy.
