I completely face palmed. And a CPU won't do him much good. Try overclocking your GPU, or buying a better one. Make sure it's not too heated.

wow are you people weak or what? i did most of the mission in the tank, i got blown up by 2 KPA rockets before i went to destroy the 3rd AAA gun, just got out, blew the damn thing up and went ahead to the rest, i dont see what's the big deal... mind this was played on hardGTR2addict

If your serious about going for a 9600GT then the answer to your question is no, the CPU will not bottleneck your video card.

Alright, well, thanks for the quick replies. I have another question, I have a 9500 GT, I want to upgrade to a 9600GT and overclock it, will my CPU bottle neck it?
