@ok To steal your computers RAM, I imagine he'd have to have a bit of time alone with your computer..

I don't even want to know how someone can be so petty as to steal 2GB of RAM, let alone steal in the first place.

Sad world. Sorry about that. I recently got a new laptop with 8GB and though it's not a gaming laptop, it ran TF2 and Skype with my buddy for the last two hours really well at the same time on Windows 8.

Blabadon

Thanks.I know world is kinda sad place.Well now i don't even turn of software or video games. So it's good,i mean more processing power :)
But still if i would ever met him $#######...!!!

Okplay looks like JC Denton!:o

I know about RAM thanks to Sonic.:D

Tell me if I make sense because I still get confused: RAM effects how much data can be loaded on screen, and how graphic this data can be. 8 GB of RAM means 8 GBs of data can be loaded at one time,

Am I right?

This is my first time trying to learn about computers. I'm so scared!

Kman5507

Something like that. Type of ram also matters. For example, the PS4 has 8GB GDDR5 ram which is really fast.

Does this mean ME4 won't have extremely long loading screens? :D

Some devs says that video games won't have loading times, after game loads at start.Seamingless open world. At leat this is how Witcher 3 will work.

GDDR rams as i know are shared memory, betwen GPU rams and main memory.Btw wait for DDR4 memory next year...you will think otherwise about GDDR5,but at the moment yea not to shaby.
