Honestly, it's pretty pathetic sometime when I read topics about why wii is gonna fail. Mostly all the reasons are:

1. SHOVELWARE: Zomg111!!1 teh crappy third party support!!.
C'mon guys, have you forgotten about the ps2 already? it is the KinG of Shovelware. games were coming out ever other day and making money off brand names. Look at Wii, it's selling faster than ps2, why should it be any different?

2. Third parties will leave them
this is kinda like the first point. People think the crappy third party ports and whatnot and motion sensing will make devs go away. Look at all the games coming out this holiday season: ignoring galaxy you have: MOH: H2, Ghost Squad, Geometry Wars, Soul Caliber Legends, Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga (not exclusive but this games gonna sell with brand name), Resi Evil:UC,too name a few.

Those are really the main reasons that rly tick me off because there's so many important points ignored when these things are posted.

Look guys, Wii doesn't have the best online, but it's getting there, Wii doesn't have the best graphics, but it don't need em, What wii does have is great titles like galaxy and corruption and just you wait, Brawl and Mario Kart are gonna rock...and than there's always the star fox game that will see soon

Wii ain't seen nothin' yet.8)

Standards change though, and 8.5 when KH2 came out is better than a 9 when KH came out. KH2 just didn't evolve as much as the standards, whereas Mass Effect did.

then how did twilight princess get triple A everywhere when the game had been finished for a year for the cube an had to be configured to work with a wii mote for a long time an then it got such a good score when the game was super old an from last gen

kingdom hearts was finihsed up an ready to go an went out on time an yet nintendo games that are held back for years an timed out perfectly for sales quota's are praised with 9's an 10's cuz of the word nintendo zelda or mario

Probably the only WRPG that should be put in the same sentence with some of the great JRPGs is KOTOR.
