Hi guys!

I have been so stressed out recently! I have tons of work to do and I am losing track of time and I am just so tired and stressed! My English/Form teacher noticed this yesterday and spoke to me about it and gave me some advice. Last night I tried to rekindle the advice I recieved from The Secret a few months ago and I hope that things can become a bit less frantic. I have my group tomorrow and counselling on Friday so maybe that can help me as well.
Nothing interesting at school the past few days. An extra assingment, more stress, and some quiches in food tech! :P

I was glad to see many people posting their favourite David Mitton scenes over the past few days! :D However, no one stated their favourite scene and how David's filming made it important. If anyone does this in this blog, then I will post their views.

Hello guys!

FRIDAY:
School was boring, as usual. The new girl in our clas$ got moved up to one of the smarter clas$es. In P.E. have the gym was blocked by these giant ladders. :? I had a councilling session after interval for over an hour! I felt rather good afterwards as I let some stuff of my chest, and I got to play with sand :lol: The rest of the day was really boring, though we watched a video in Science.

SATURDAY:
I was forced to see my dad. :roll: However, he brought me... POKEMON DIAMOND! :D The first game I have actually owned! It is so much fun. Here is my current team:

Today, I would like people to post their favourite moment that he filmed and why and I'll post them tomorrow, as this shows how important his filming is. If you aren't a Thomas or TUGS fan, than don't worry! Though you might remember a scene from the pastr ;)

MINE:
Edward racing home with the Railway Enthusists in Edward's Exploits. I love this moment so much because David really captured his determination and there were some nice shots, and the close up view is imprinted permanently on my mind. And the closing shot of Edward going into the shed was very sweet and David summed the story up nicely.
Some others moments I liked where:
Henry's night run in The Flying Kipper
The fire in Munitions
The ending scene of Bigg Freeze
And the crash in Trucks.

Also, I am pleased that more entries are coming in for the writing competition! It was meant to close today, but I'll keep it open until next Sunday! So please get them in soon!

Hi guys!

WEDNESDAY:
As usual it was late start and Callum and I watched stuff on the internet. Then it was school and I had English first. I talked to my teacher and I can do my speech at interval some day instead of in front of the clas$! :D (Don't ask why! :x ) Then my Social Studies teacher let me pass with the work I had done, even though I hadn't done all the essays! :D In the afternoon there was a Science test, and I think I did badly. But I don't care. If I am going to be an author or journalist, then I am more concerned about what to put on paper then about where it came from or wheter I am contributing to rising Carbon Dioxide (sp?) levels :P

TODAY:
Nothing much different. We had about ten power cuts this morning because all the teachers had their heaters on and the power boards failed :P We missed out on halve of Social Studies due to that! Then it was Assembley and all we had was a lecture on exams and blood dontations. (Odd combination :P) Then it was Drama and we had our assesment without being told! We had no props, no sound, no backdrop and halve of us had no costumes! However, I am on Excellence at the moment but we are being reassesed. Then I had my group and we just discussed about having our own views on things. The last two subjects were a yawn :P

I am still not getting many entries in for the Writing Competition. If anyone is planning on entering, please tell me and say when your story might be done, and I'll extend the time if needed.

I will start the new theme of The Work of David Mitton on Saturday's blog. I have some ideas, but I wish to here your ideas! :D If anyone has some ideas for activities, then I'll add those in to the blogs! I saw Britt's tribute to David and I didn't really like it that much. She mainly just talked about hiring him and some stuff on his work, and nothing on TUGS! I hoped for better!

Hi guys!

Yesterday, I did nothing except play on my DS, doing Pokemon FireRed, and watched Pokemon: Heroes. It wasn't very good and I won't watch it again. And my sisters were total cows for the whole day. :(

Today was a public holiday so no school. Thankfully, Callum invited me over. I returned FireRed when I arrived and they me, Callum and his brother watched all these videos around Ugly Betty and Pokemon. As we went to watch last week's episode, I suddenly felt ill and got a headache and a sore stomach. Callum was a good friend and stayed upstairs with me and a I vomitted a little but then I started to feel better via apples and juice. :P Then we played Harry Potter on Playstation before my mum took me home. I now am feeling much better but my throat is a bit scratchy.

Hi guys! Sorry for not posting recently, I haven't had much to say in blog.

I have got up to Level 46: Lothar of the Hill People. I have no idea what show that's from :P I hope to get through this one faster that Lvl 45

I am in for a boring long weekend! Due to Queenies Fake Birthday (Did you know her actual birthday is in April. This holiday is actually closer to her coronation!) we get Monday off as well, so not much is planned. I plan to finish the latest Waterfront story so I can finish up the next LAD chapter. I got a movie out today: Pokemon Heroes as it is one I haven't seen and I was in the mood. And Callum said that he might call me around to his place sometime so I can catch up on Ugly Betty and we can watch the first Pokemon Movie, but he might forget. And my dad is bringing a new television for us, as his girlfriend had a spare one. So more television! :D

Hi guys! I have had praticallly no blog ideas recently! I have no idea for a theme this week. Any suggestions?

School was bland today. I had the program on again and a few of them people were misbehaving ad see the group as free time. This really annoys me. Also, we did tests today: French and English. More to come in the future. What fun :roll:

Many Thomas fans already know this, but David Mitton, who was the director for the first seven series passed away today following a heart attack last week. He was aged 69.
David was a great person and he did some great work, my favourite of his direction being The Flying Kipper's clas$ic night scene from Thomas and the Munitions Fire in TUGS. He enjoyed talking to fans and always shared his enthusiasm. He will be missed by all that knew him and respected his work.
R.I.P David Mitton.

Hello! Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, it said that there was maintenence work going on and I couldn't log on. :(

School hasn't been all that interesting. Though yesterday, Callum and I had this small theatresports workshop for an hour after school with an actress, and we did some small plays. She only focused on our bad points though. And I missed Food out today as I had to catch up for the program I did two weeks ago as the next lesson is tomorrow. (Which means less books :P).

I have two requests to make:
- I was wondering if anyone else is going to enter the competition. A few people have said they are writing stories, but only about five people are showing interest. It might not sound very exciting, but I just thought it would be something fun for people to do. :)

Hello!

I was forced to stay home today so I could rest and I am feeling better, but the weather is horrible. I finally went back to the doctors, and she just thought that it was from my cold. I didn't find that helpful at all! :x

Also, some people asked some questions about the Wiritng Competition and here are some answers:
- You don't have to submit a piece for each catergory, only if you want to.
- You can submit stories in two or three parts for one catergory, as long as each part fits the word limit. Also, you won't be able to enter in any other catergories.

Now, here is the promised stuff about New Zealand:
Firstly, some facts:
- Our current Prime Minister is Helen Clark, and we are part of the British Commonwealth.
- The natives are the Maori's, and explorers such a Captain Cook and Abel Tasman were some of the first Europeans to discover our country.
- New Zealand is the name given to us by Johan Blaeu after the Dutch Provine, Zeeland, and Captain Cook made it a British name. Our Maori name is Aotearoa, whcih means Land of the Long White Cloud. Aotearoa is not Maori for New Zealand.
- When British Colonies arrived in the 1800, there were lots of land wars between the British and the Maori's. In the end, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed February 6 1840 in order to sort things out, though it had been created in haste and some scuffles continued. But the Treaty marks the start of New Zealand as a country
- Auckland is the largest city with over 1 million people, while the capital, Wellington, only has over 37 thousand! Big difference
- Our main landmarks are the Sky Tower in Auckland (biggest structure in Southern Hemisphere), the Beehive, which is our Parliment Building, and all of our mountains and forests. Rotorua and Queenstown are our main tourist towns.
- We have had a lot of great people over the years. Sir Edmund Hiliary, the man who first climbed Mt Everest, was a Kiwi. We invented Nuclear Power, but don't use it. (Strange that.) We were one of the first countries to get female vote
- And, to end on a funnier note, we are always at war with Australia! :lol: Wheter it's the Wallabies against the All Blacks, or we're arguing over who originally owned what. :P The main arguement: Pavlova's! :lol:

Hi y'all!

SATURDAY:
My dad and I went to lunch again. He ordered me sausages though I didn't want them and stole my chips again :roll: I felt really sick at the office and couldn't concentrate so I couldn't do much on there. I'll try and get the STAY Bulletin up soon! And our crummy television that we have upstairs broke :roll: :(

TODAY:
My dad arrived early for Glenbrook and then we went to a coffee with his girlfriend first :roll: Then we went to Glenbrook and managed to get the eleven'o'clock. My dad read the paper :roll: And at the works they didn't have many engines on display, which was sad as I would have liked to seen them. And then my dad had a fit when I asked for Take Along Peter Sam! :( Then we went to see his mum, and she was crazy as usual. She burst into tears randomly and then forced us to take her to lunch. :roll: And finally we went to an open day at the Ports of Auckland. It was the end of the day, but I asked some questions and got some good information for The Waterfront! :D

I am still feeling really crummy, and now my eye hurts. :( I think my headache is from something to do with my eye, as I saw something similar to this on a medical show. :? I hope it isn't serious!
