It seems as if it could probably add enjoyment to my current DSlite experience because of the screen size. There are definitely times where I wish I had a slight boost in real estate, and the extra .53in should definitely help.

I don't mind the stretched image so much, as I'm sure the smoothing works fine and while my original post sort of hinted that I could be hung-up by graphics, I don't really fuss over visual fidelity all that much.

I think part of my decision on whether to keep my 3DS pre-order will come down to whether it significantly enhances my enjoyment of regular DS games.

I was kind of late to the DS, so I still plan on playing some AAA games like Bowser's Inside Story, Spirit Tracks and eventually Okamiden. I will obviously pick up a 3DS eventually, but not sure I need one right away.

While none of the launch titles really grab me (Pilotwings and Pro Evolution would be my two purchases), I could be enticed by a bump in graphical quality from what I currently get on my DSlite. I guess the screen size upgrade would be nice...what about resolution for DS games? I've heard there is a small black border when playing DS games. Any more details?
