This will not be the case in Japan. Some games in Japan are over $100 new. For the regular edition. I have seen box sets going for $300! Thank god for NA pricing!

@Stonecutters908 lots of big games are releasing in Japan in the next couple months. This is what Sony cares about right now. The West will get its turn.

I will be keeping my PS3...I don't see why this is a big problem. Most people will end up keeping their PS3. Sony will still support it for 3 more years.

This is fair, Japan always pays way way more for electronics thanks to the exchange rate. Sony has some big big games releasing soon on the Vita (in Japan) and they want people to buy it now. I am sure in the future the PSV will see a price cut in the West.

Yeah....the look of the console is the thing I care the least about. No one is seeing a PS4 for the first time at your house and saying, ohhh, that's what a PS4 looks like??? Garbage, I mean, that game looks awesome, but the console is just so 2005...lol. Microsoft is worried from the looks of it.
