@Dienheart @OmegaSabre @ZombieGuy78 @number004 @de-astroturfer well yes they actually are trying to screw you over. It's because of them that used games are banned in japan and that all add revenue from nintendo games from let's plays and stuff is automatically transferred to them.
@ZombieGuy78 @OmegaSabre @number004 @de-astroturfer Gamers don't really care about the company or if someone loses their job or not. It's about the games. And if they keep brining such bad and highly costly games ( Remember Me for example ) they all shall drop. My response to this is just that Nintendo is trying to screw everyone in chance to get money. But this is from a non existent source. You stop piracy? Fine. Those people still are not gonna buy your games. Next step is probably banning Let's Plays or streams of their newer games.
@de-astroturfer @OmegaSabre People who worked on those games got payed. The company is just not getting profit. And people who pirate it wouldn't have bought those to begin with.
Imagine you have a car. And the next day someone has the same exact car as you but yours is stll there. It's the same thing. There are no physical things stolen in this process. They literally don't lose anything. It's just data. If they were talking about people coming and stealing actual hardware then yes that's a loss.
