It IS a souped-up Gamecube. That's a fact based on the hardware.

However, it is very souped-up. Galaxy will most likely be easily surpassed by 08.

Uh... what? They're making as many as they feasibly can, you'll just have to be an early bird to catch a shipment. You're wasting time complaining here.

Does anyone think that the the website revealing stuff about SSBB almost every day will ruin then game for us. I mean wouldn't you wantto be surprised to see a new character in there you didn't know about.GlitchRocks

Uhh... leave the SSBB topics then? IIRC the same thing happened with Melee.

No. If you want it to be GC-controller compatible then just buy the GC version.

Just kidding. :)

[QUOTE="Omega_Supamane"]In some game stores they'll let you play the Wii if you give them ID, such as a driver's license (think of it as collateral). In stores like Wal-Mart though, I doubt they'll have playable Wiis for a while, seeing as how easy it is to steal the controller.mattyftm

Here in the UK some shops make you hand over either £30 or your phone or a ring or something of value before playing it and you get it back after you've finished playing to stop people from running off with the wiimote.

How much are Wiimotes there? I was about to say, "wait, they're 40 bucks, you're getting it for cheap", but I remembered they're pounds, not dollars. I'm guessing 20? Last I heard, a pound = 2 dollars.
