I have no idea why people say PC gaming is dying. I have recently bought a gaming rig, and after playing games on it for a few months now, going back to using my xbox (for fable III) was a huge downgrade. In graphics, load times and controls. I think people would buy PC's if they didn't have this misconception on the price. I bought mine for about £550 and that will play most games ultra high with a decent a FPS.

Anyway the main reason why PC gaming is better than console gaming is because of a little thing called quicksave :P

They put too much effort into the graphics, not enough into the gameplay imo. Why couldn't they keep to the old turn based system they've used the other 12? With FF games, you either love them or hate them why would they feel the need to change that after so long?

2. The PS3 is one of the best media consumption devices on the market. A combination of Blu-ray, access to Youtube, and Netflix streaming make it an excellent (and perhaps even cheaper) alternative to an HTPC.

This point is redundent, if there going from PC gaming to console gaming, why would they need any of the stuff? It's all included as soon as you have a PC in the first place, considering you have an internet connection. Except for the Blu Ray player, i would say the media point is, as i said redundent. They could alternatively by a Blu Ray drive for there PC for about a hundred quid much cheaper than £250.

I would however agree with you when it comes down to exclusives, as quite a number of XBox games port to the PC, compared to the very rare amount which are ported from the PS3. But then it all comes down to preference.

So i guess in the end i agree with you, as a gaming console should be primiarly used for gaming...imo.

People who judge games only upon reviews, are missing out some awesome games. For example, Lost Odyssey got a 7.5, but that is by the best next gen RPG i have played (excluding Persona 4)

I agree with you. There was such a huge amount of amour, bio-tech upgrades and weapons in the first. That's why i played it twice because i wanted to get the best armour and weapons for me and my team (Garrus and Wrex). But the second imo didn't have that replayability factor. The second improved on everything except that part.

It depends upon the person's choice. For local multiplayer, nothing beats a console hands down you don't get the simplicity or picking up a couple controllers popping in a game then your off. But for online games possibly the PC is better. As i said it really depends upon the person.
