It was £110 at christmas. i got my arcade for £107. Now its gone back up to £150 i believe.

Imo it's worth owning an Xbox 360 for Gears of War (not halo). That game is seriously fun. I come back to it every now and then, and the appeal just does not go away, really great game. However its on the PC so you don't have to buy an xbox 360. Also, it's not necesary to buy a play and charge kit, just how most things on the xbox aren't necesary. I got an Arcade xbox for £110 brand new, thats a bargain. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 offer something different, one is not better than the other. And, you have named some of the highest rated games, but not necesarily the best. Lost Odyssey, Crackdown, NN3 all incredibly fun games, just not highly rated.

ME2 is one of my favourite games to get this year, however, it is incredibely naive and ignorant to say that FFXIII will be lame. The power of the Final Fantasy series is huge. They have the best story and characters in any video game, as well as some of the most complex and deep gameplay mechanics in any RPG genere. I don't think a realtiavely new RPG will beat the monster which is FFXIII. Of course we will have to wait and see, this is all speculation.

It's looking to be a great shooter, but i prefer smaller tactical based teams rather than 64 players on each side.

I think the design of the Xbox 360 is quite a nice one. If they made a slim version it would lose its appeal. The Original PS3 tried to be stylish, and the glossy finish is nice, but it really is an abomination. My opinion of course.

Woaaaah Dynasty Warrior's online! Hyped for that, maybe they will take the series down a new path (finally). To be honest, there is only one game that i want this year, which is The Last Guardian :)

You should probably re-assess what games you really like and what you want to play. These games arent really the same. Theyre only compared because of the timing and they're "actiony". Unless you've played them all, you could get Ninja Gaiden 2, DMC4 or even Ninja Blade for real cheap now if your looking for that fix.

I already have DMC4, and its that i don't want a game like God of War which is the issue. I don't particularly like the God of War series, just never did it for me. I don't really like linear games, which is why i am not sure whether or not either games will be right for me.

I am deciding which game to get out of those two. I played the demo to Bayonetta and loved it, was fun as hell. But i can see it getting quite repetitve. I'm more into the comic book Darksiders than Bayonetta, but how much like God of War is it like? I hear there are RPG elements in it, so that should keep it refreshing. I can't find any Darksider demos on XBL, and watching videos is one thing, i need to know what people think about the both games.
