I would remove the Gamecube hardware from the system and put something more powerful.

MP3 looks like a GC game.

[QUOTE="Onoskelis"]If recent trends tell us anything, the Japanese are mainly pumping out casual shovelware. They release the occasional great game every once in a a while.yoshi_64

What? Since when? :| The western side of developers are accused just as much for the same thing. It's not like any one side is more "hardcore" oriented than the other.

Latest Japanese greatness I can recall would probably be Persona 3 or Metroid Prime 3. (Depending if you consider japanese developed.)

If by greatness you mean a generic turn based JRPG and a game that was devloped by Texas based Retro Studioes, then sure.

Differences of opinions. Still, isn't Factor 5 western based? How did that turn out? :?

Anyways, I'd say MP 3 is western based, but I do know they and EAD (Mario and Pikmin house or Shiggy's house should I say) Also had some hands in with the development. So it's not entirely western based I'd say....

Still, isn't Bioshock western based? How did that turn out? :?

My Avatar (Tina from DOA) is an American, and my sig (Samus Aran) is clearly white.

Go fail more.

-RPGamer-

While "Tina is an American" the art direction of DOA is clearly not Anerican.

"I see guys with women in their sigs, everyone of them Asian (Japanese), not there is anything wrong with that but to believeasain women as the only beutiful figures you could find... and it's not a personal thing because a lot of users have this trait, they only have Asian women in their sig's/avatars. Are Japanese women the pinnacle of bueaty? Should women aspire to look like them?"

Sorry, but the TC was talking about race, not art direction.

Sorry but iff you read his whole post you'll see he clearly talks about anime. The DOA girls are 3D representations of manga style art.

:|

That's like saying Halo is a 3D representation of disney art.

Well Halo is pretty much based on Marathon. There are some deep theories that people wrote up that actually links the story in Marathon to Halo.

They pretty much called Halo a sequel to Marathon under a different name.

Oni was a Bungie/Rockstar collaboration. I doubt we'll see another Oni.DaysAirlines

I hope they do. I loved that game, even though it's controls were rather crappy.
