My PS3 has been on 24/7 since March 22 when folding at home became available and I havn't had any problems at all. So when I'm not gaming it's folding!

Go to Universal Studios website and ask them to put their movies on Blu-Ray, they only support HD-DVD right now.

PS3 owners can end this war! All they would need to do is buy at least one Blu-Ray movie a month. If they all did this HD-DVD would die. I say it's time to end this war!

does it matter if I leave the bloody thing for 7 or 8 hours at a time then?tyba1982

Not at all, since update 1.6 my PS3 has been folding@home 24/7, except for when I'm gaming :)

In fact Sony has stated running folding at home all the time will not harm the system at all. Will get dusty quicker though lol.

I got a PS3 today and was wondering if you can charge the SIXAXIS when the PS3 is turned off?  Does the system need to be on or can it simply be in stand-by mode.tyba1982

It Needs to be on. :x

Every time I try to play Dirge of Cerberus on PS3, it says plug in a dualshock 2 controller, and I probably need to do the same for the PS1 games right? So how the heck do I do it?

SkyCastleDan

Just Force it in one of the USB ports, with enough force it will fit! Just kidding, like they said either use a sixaxis and press the PlayStation button, or get the PS2 adapter and connect your dual-shock to the PS3. Thanks to update 1.7 you get force feedback again.8)

Don't expect a jump in sales until the big guns come-out! And they will come out. While I'm waiting I will play Oblivion Motorstorm, and PS2 Hits FFXII & God of War II on my PS3. And to balance those out I also have to get through the classic Zelda The ledgend of the windwaker on my Wii, Enchanted Arms and Halo 2 on my 360. Oh and Monster hunter Freedom on my PSP. I lost my GBA  so I can't play with it anymore.

Don't you read??? When you start the download and agree to the update it tells you what the major updates are!

For me Force feedback for PS & PS2 games is what I wanted to hear/feel lol

Cool to the PS games for the PSP can now be played on the PS3 as well. This is a great update. The PS3 just got some Virtual Console boost for games.
