Here's what it would be called if it followed common naming tropes in games or films:

Lord of the Ring: Origins

Dawn of the Lord of the Rings

Lord of the Ring : The Pre-prequel

Lord of the Ring: Episode 0

Lords.

@j3diknightdave: Ouch. What I was trying to point to was the irony of talking about what people 'deserve' when talking about the kind of wealth that Jeff Bezos has.

So yes if I was as wealthy as Bezos I wouldn't necessarily think I deserve it. I wouldn't give it away, nor am I advocating for Bezos to just donate it all, but I genuinely would not believe I somehow 'deserved' that much wealth. (Aside from Bezos) most billionaires are not self-made. Wealth is generationally inherited, and for the most part, wealthy people start of with a lot of wealth, and uses that wealth to generate more wealth that outpaces what the vast majority of us can ever achieve.

Most wealthy people or families have the economic mobility to hide their wealth to avoid many taxes that ordinary people pay. I do not need to know anything about your circumstances to know almost for a fact that you (yes, YOU) are paying a higher percentage in taxes on your wealth (and I'm deliberately saying wealth, not income; meaning all of your assets) than Bezos is in his. Obviously Bezos contributes to tax revenue more than you do in 'absolute' value, but you pay more in a % of your own wealth than Bezos does in his....for....a....fact. Billionaires have more lobbying power in our economic system that can continue to mold laws and policies in to their favor. So in a economic system where the game is rigged in the favor of the wealthy - no - the kinds of accumulated wealth that over time that make it easier for wealth to beget more wealth, is only possible because people like you are sold on the idea that our economic system is fair and people earn what they deserve. In a perfect meritocracy that is true, but we do not live in a perfect meritocracy.

@liquiddaylight: Well, marriages are contractual agreements in essence and per our long standing tradition (and legal precedent) she probably 'deserved' even more.

What's stupid about the world isn't that a divorce led to a split in assets, which is something that's been around forever. If we're talking about what people 'deserve', no individual ever deserves this unfathomable level of wealth. No one gets this wealthy without inherent and fundamental issues with our economic system.

@cage_92: see, when you talk like that, it just confirms the obvious that it's not just a matter of "facts" that eludes people like you, but rather significantly, simple lines of reasoning is not being entertained at all.

@The_Darkwalker: Well.. because your claim is still unproven, and this guy has been proven to essentially flout campaign finance rules (essentially defrauding donors and enriching himself) and indicted on said charges. Now he is being pardoned for his crimes because as a tremendous abuse of presidential powers he is being made an example to all of Trump's loyalist that he has their back, to preserve and maintain support for a probable presidential bid in the future.

If Biden pardoned his son in a similar manner, I'd likely scrutinize him for abusing his presidential power. That hasn't happened yet, and this current pardoning spree (for personal gain/protection) is happening as we speak.

@cage_92: Yes Clinton kept a private server for her emails - a questionable violation of the Federal Records Act that was deemed unwarranted and probably unreasonable for prosecution, and the interpretation of which has never really been tested in court. You know, one of those laws that are written but never enforced unless it's really for something actually serious.

Trump's entire family and some cabinet used personal emails for government purposes, and though the nature of this issue is mildly different from Clinton's circumstances, it could still be construed as a similar violation of the Records Act. Of course no one cares about it because honestly … no one cares.

What's probably more serious than violating federal record-keeping rules, are the fairly obvious security breaches that have been raised by the intelligence community for Trump and his family's persistent neglect of security protocols in their use personal emails and other networking platforms.

I mean if we are even going to care about emails at all- why care about national security breaches more than federal record keeping rules, am I right?

people calling this guy for wasting time, but what is gaming essentially but completing arbitrary goals?

If this guys is wasting his time, then most of gaming is wasting time.

3 years ago I was pretty excited for this game...now, not so much.

For me, it's less so the performance issues or entirely expected glitchy issues. It's the genre.

Maybe it's just a temporary fatigue of the open world sandbox-type game, but after all the GTA's, Red Dead's, Witcher's, Skyrim's, and even the lesser Assassin's Creed's, Far Cry's, Just Cause's, Saint's Row's, etc - I just don't know how people get excited for these games anymore. It sort of all just blends together nowadays.

I can appreciate the amount of work that goes into these games, but you simply can't make games this big and maintain a reasonable interest curve throughout. You just can't.

@bullsharktestosterone: So let me ask you this. Given global population where East Asian and South Asian's quite literally comprise of an overwhelming majority, by your logic, Hollywood ought to be justified to start making films that resonate with their culture's, right? Majority Rule? And if they start pandering to, say, Chinese nationalist film interest, that's okay too - because... capitalism, correct?

It's all fun and east to start justifying everything with majority rule until you aren't the majority anymore ~

As much as I blame scalper for their typical predatory business practices, I equally blame buyers who are so impatient as to give opportunities for these scalpers.
