It felt like a lot of grinding. Areas are chocked full of cannon fodder enemies that you endlessly kill for experience, it's just the usual RPG/MMO game.

Noctis, it's an old DOS game. It's free and it has 70 billion stars and you can explore the planets orbiting them. It can be tough to get it working sometimes...being DOS and all.

A better solution may be to glue an old Commodore logo on your current computer.;)

Noctis - Totally free Space Sim game.

Crackdown - It seems like it only sold because of the Halo 3 beta, but I thought the game was a lot of fun.

ARMA - It is buggy and poorly optimized, but it can really fun with a few good players.

Corrupt government on a tropical island? It's like an FPS-RPG version of Just Cause. O_o

I wonder why people keep asking this question. Microsoft would lose money if they did that...a noticible bit of Vista sales would drop since so many people claim that Vista is so horrible. I haven't tried Vista for myself so I have no firsthand account.

Red Alert 2 was tons of fun. Especially mirage tanks in multiplayer.

I find the the whole "Better FPS in DX9 than DX10" issue is ridiculous. DX10 is more demanding, so you are obviously going to get lower FPS. I see no reason to blame it on everything else. It's like saying DX10 is terrible because you get better FPS in HL2 than Crysis.

The increasing power of technology also allows for larger worlds in games, thus allowing increased freedom possiblilities. I'm totally for it, it increases replayability...or even better...allows near-endless gameplay ^_^

Noctis, Super Mario World, System Shcok 2, and the original Half-life.
