Black Ops "better" than Fallout New Vegas -_- ?

Well Fallout gets a 7.5 and Black Ops gets a 9 -_- . It looks like GS is jumping on the band wagon and saying it's a great game even though the people that have it are basically saying "meh, same old stuff but a good game anyways" I haven't played it yet, but it's safe to say it's just like its predecessors. I just simply don't believe that the game is better than Fallout New Vegas from what I've read. I know everyone is sick of CoD, but I'm really getting sick that game reviewers are sticking up for it too. I thought this was the one people would say "Nah, I think it's going to be too much like the last one, I'll wait." Nope. What makes it even worse is that most of the things people love are stolen out of halo: commando = sword, semtex = sticky grenade, replay feature = completely obvious stolen idea. This whole thing is so old. You have the 10 year olds on, the x's in the gamertags, whining, boosting, cheating, "noob tubes", over the top fake campaign that is 5 or less hours long. I mean come on people, really?

Song of the Week(s) and odd gaming habits recently and Goldeneye Wii reception

Well, Song of the Week has had a bad week :. With no blog Tuesday, I decided to make it a double week on Friday. So here are some great songs :) (three actually)

Demonheart - Luca Turilli (Play this while playing Oblivion!)

Lyrics in video description

Big Iron - Marty Robbins (This song is on Fallout New Vegas and I liked it so much I bought it off iTunes)

To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business no one dared to make a slip
for the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

It was early in the morning when he rode into the town

He came riding from the south side slowly lookin' all around
He's an outlaw loose and running came the whisper from each lip
And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip
big iron on his hip

In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red

Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead
He was vicious and a killer though a youth of twenty four
And the notches on his pistol numbered one an nineteen more
One and nineteen more

Now the stranger started talking made it plain to folks around

Was an Arizona ranger wouldn't be too long in town
He came here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead
And he said it didn't matter he was after Texas Red
After Texas Red

Wasn't long before the story was relayed to Texas Red

But the outlaw didn't worry men that tried before were dead
Twenty men had tried to take him twenty men had made a slip
Twenty one would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

The morning passed so quickly it was time for them to meet

It was twenty past eleven when they walked out in the street
Folks were watching from the windows every-body held their breath
They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death
About to meet his death

There was forty feet between them when they stopped to make their play

And the swiftness of the ranger is still talked about today
Texas Red had not cleared leather fore a bullet fairly ripped
And the ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

It was over in a moment and the folks had gathered round

There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground
Oh he might have went on living but he made one fatal slip
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip

Jingle Jangle Jingle (Another song off Fallout NV, I'm about to buy this one off iTunes too!)

Lyrics in video description

Hope you liked them! So, as you all know, Fallout New Vegas and The Force Unleashed 2 have been released recently. Both are excellent games, but are I've only played the 360 3 times in the past week! It's kinda weird, so I'm gonna remedy that right after this blog :D Have you ever just stopped playing video games? (I'm scared my 360 is gonna hate me  lols)

So I've been waiting since E3 for a Goldeneye Wii review and that time has come. So far, the game has received almost all positive reviews and looks great. The user score on here is 9.2 last I checked and the user reviews are great too. So could they have actually been successful at not only bringing back a cla$$ic (have to spell it wrong because it's a bad word), but also bringing back one of the best games ever? (My favorite game, you probably know that already too XD) I can't wait to try it out! I'll let you guys know how it's like if you haven't already. I'll probably have to wait till Christmas, but if you're still considering it by then, I'll put up a blog or review :).

Thanks - Oozyrat

Song of the Week and Bioshock for only...?!

Hello everyone, and your reading Song of the Week. It's late for the (I lost count) Friday in a row because I couldn't think of a song :( . But I have one now! (actually I'm still thinking...)

*checks iTunes* Yay! I found one! Here it is:

Slither, by Velvet Revolver

(lyrics in video)

So I've been downloading game demos on my bro's laptop and one of them was Bioshock (1). I liked the demo for the PC and borrowed the game for the 360, but niether of us beat it :(. At the time I got the demo, Bioshock was $10 or $20. Now the price is.......... $4.99! I'm so tempeted to get it! Should I? I'm really thinking about getting it!

Thanks - Oozyrat! (willing to pay $5 for Bioshock)

Song of the Week, plus music game

Well here it is, the Song of the Week! This is a very powerful song about a young man going to war wanting to be a hero. After he commits horrific sins while overseas, he come back and hates the fact that he is seen as a hero. Well here it is (reading the lyrics along with the song really increases the feel for me and is highly recommended :D )

(hey I found a video with lyrics!)

Hero of War, by Rise Against

So I found this game on the Steam demo list. It's a music game that somehow converts songs into math problems and makes the numbers lights or something along those lines. Here is some actual gameplay!

The Polynomial - Space of the Music

I'm tempted to buy it, you can import any song you want and it's only $10! Still thinking about it. What do you think?

Thanks - Oozyrat

Song of the Week, favorite snack food

First I would like to say "thank you" to everyone who responded to my level problem blog! Thanks a bunch, you guys are great *sniff* *sniff*!

Well, I had a friend over yesterday so yet again, it's a late Song of the Week (sorry!). Well I'm always surprised by the range in vocals from Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour. Here is the difference, please watch in order :) . (Note, the second and third song are both Stone Sour so they sound similar, but the first Stone Sour song sounds more different than the Slipknot song so that goes first. It's also easier to hear him.)

Eyeless, by Slipknot - (explicit!)

Through Glass, by Stone Sour

Say You'll Haunt Me, by Stone Sour

Personally, I like the Stone Sour songs a lot better. I only like 3 Slipknot songs...I'm not into the screaming metal stuff (older/non-screaming metal like Black Label Society and Iron Maiden are perfect though :) ) So I hope you enjoyed them all :D!

I love snack food. But you can only have one favorite. Mine is Andy Capp's Hot Fires. There is no food on this earth that makes me happier than these things. I like spicy foods, so they are a must for me, but since I eat them so often, the "heat" is usually non-existent. So what's you favorite snack food?

hot fries

Thanks - Oozyrat (level 16!)

Level zero >:( ....help please plus New Vegas!

Hey, I've heard happened to some people before, and now it happened to me; I'm level zero. Does anyone know if I can get my level back, or do I have to level up all over again? I'll be very greatful to anyone with an answer! I really hope that it goes back

Also, first impressions of Fallout: New Vegas:

Overall, I like it a lot. There are some bugs and it is a bit too much of the "same song and dance" but it seems really good. My biggest problem is the radio stations, there are only like 10 songs! One of my favorite parts about playing Fallout 3 was the music and now I only have a few songs to listen to :(. Oh well, it's a small price to pay I guess. So I would say get it.

Also thanks to the commenters on my last blog and checking out the song and videos!

Thanks - Oozyrat (level "0")

Song of the Week, funny videos, and Fallout New Vegas!

Well, I'm in a pretty good mood, so I'm going to put a pretty uplifting song! The song was written for GTA IV and it fits perfectly. Here it is!:

Vagabond, by Greenskeepers

ARGH! Fallout New Vegas is sitting within arms reach and I can't play it! Why? It's my bro's (Waffleprime) game and he's not here! I can't wait to play it, the more I wait the more rewarding I guess. A lot of reviews are saying that it is a bit too much like Fallout 3 while some are comletely praising the game. I personally think that it is going to be a little bit of both. I could tell from the first gameplay footage that it was going to be a little too much like Fallout 3. I'm hoping the gameplay is a little more realistic. I liked the RPG shooting, but sometimes when an enemy takes 3 headshots like they are spit-balls, there is a problem. Oh well, I'll tell you guys about it next Thursday about how it is.

The moment you've all been waiting for, funny video time! Note, viewer disgretion advised on some.

RE4 voice-over (I've only seen the first episode)

This isn't really a "funny video" but it has funny parts. It's a behind the scenes of a Celldweller song!

Louder Than Words

Louder Than Word 2

I'll try to put up more videos i find soon. Well that's all I can write, Ghost Lab is on! Cya guys later!

Thanks a lot! - Oozyrat

Song of the Week with TFU2 demo review!

Well it's late again, so there are 2 songs like Tuesday! I wasn't home yesterday so I couldn't put a blog up :( . So here are the 2 songs :)

Disposition - Tool

Poem - Taproot

Well, that's that! Hope you liked them!

Well TFU2 demo is here and it's awesome! The graphics are better, the combat is better, you can go throgh the menu without having to wait ten minutes, and even the voice acting is better (even though it was perfect before). So overall I give the demo a 9.5/10

TFU2

I can't wait for TFU2, but I really can wait until Tuesday! Fallout New Vegas! We get to listen to 40's music without strange looks and get to make people heads explode!

fallout head

Tuesday, I'm going to put some links to some funny videos :3!

Well that's about it! See you soon!

Thanks - Oozyrat

Song of the Week (x2!) Most Addicting Apps!

Well I got two songs for you today because one is short and instrumental. I spent around an hour looking up how to find out how to put iTunes song in windows movie maker and couldn't find it  . So here are the links again :( :

The Notes of my Reflection (by Eightneen Visions)

From The Roof Top~Somewhere in the Silence (Sniper's Theme) (by Yoko Kanno)

I hope you like them! I really wanted to pick another song, but that's for Friday! I can't wait for it! (I thought that first song, the Note one, was called "A short walk down a long hallway" for almost a year...)

Ok, so I've had iTunes for a few weeks now and here are the most addicting ones I've found so far (all FREE!):

textPlus (it's kinda like a forum about whatever the "host" wants it to be)

Graffiti Ball (extremely addicting)

Paper Toss

Knots

Jelly Car

EliminatePro

Harbor 3D

Those are some awesome games and are completely free (except the textPlus isn't a game :3 )

Hope you enjoyed the songs! Just post any questions about anything relating or non-relating to a video game.

Thanks! - Oozyrat (Also I really want to thank all of my friends who have been following the SotW's, I really enjoy reading and responding to your comments, thanks a bunch!)
