[QUOTE="Osafune24"]So the PS2 was a fad also? The Wii is only selling ever so slightly better than the PS2 and it had wide casual appeal too.MikeE21286

I never once said the Wii was a fad :|

Did I quote you anywhere in that post? Maybe that was a reply to the millions of people, in this topic and others, who are calling the Wii a fad?

[QUOTE="briguyb13"]id says this, id says that, who the hell is id? Who ever they are, they sound like Sony's little lap doggies.D_Znuhtz

LOL

You're joking, right? Who is id?

Do the names Wolfenstein, Doom, and Quake mean anything to you?

It seems I'm not the only one who doesn't have a clue who or what id is...

And Wolfenstein is the only one on that list that means anything to me, and only because I have ET which I hardly play anymore.

Umm aren't the component cables the ones with the red, white, and yellow connectors on one end? In which case, they do come with the cables.

Component cables allow higher resolutions. The cables the Wii comes woth are just composite I believe.

In that case, the PS3 doesn't come with component cables either (or HDMI cables (which are fairly expensive)).

If the Big 3 interests you, it seems like BWii, NoMore Heroes, Fire Emblem and otherswould too.

Btw, the Gamecube had cost a lot less than the PS2 and Xbox last gen and it sold for crap so your logic fails there.

If you get the HDDVD add on, it will cost virtually as much as the 80 gig PS3 (and more than the current 60 gig).

XBL Gold isn't free, and assuming you don't get the add-on, it will still cost about as much in the long run as the PS3.

If you don't want either feature, the 360 would be best. If you want just one feature, they'reeven. If you want both features, the PS3 is best. Unless you're asheep, this gen isn't very good for those on a budget.

So how many exclusive AAA's should the 360 have right now, considering it's been out for twice as long?

Care to give a reason behind your assumption?

It's like a combination of Myspace and Second Life, and look at how popular both of those are... Because of that, I think Home will be a system seller...
